about.

"i won't go anymore,
to pick your mails.
so don't bother writing."
he whispered softly,
his hard gaze on me.

"this is for the best."

i was speechless.
i lost my voice.

why did you leave me
when you knew
i would need you the most,
more than my family who
never needed me,
more than my schoolmates
whom could care less of my existence?

why did you choose to
move on,
when you know i
obviously can't?

and now,
you had chose to
leave me
standing here,
breaking down
and with no one
to hold onto.

no, i could not
let him exit my life like that..

i needed to get to him,
wake his senses,
tell him he didn't have to
go through it alone.

because i will stay right
with him,
through all his melancholic
days.

all was avail, until
realising i had a problem.

i didn't know anything
about his whereabouts...

he has given me
absolutely nothing
to reach him.

i realized...
i don't know him at all.

but i'd be determined to find out.

i would have to hunt him
down.

my footsteps were slow,
uneven tempo as my shoes
had me almost tripping over
nothing.

reminds me of why i was
unlovable.

i crossed the road
alone and tired.
i could pay no attention
to the thunderstorm
that just dropped by.

a clatter of thunder
and rain soon started to pour,
and i had thought i was
dreaming when
i looked on to see
the same boy that i had missed
about.

tassled hair and decreased momentum in his
footsteps
and my heartbeat,
he stopped
his tracks in front of me,
under the rain with me,
without another word.

i stare into his eyes,
the only features i could see.

i wanted to just let
everything go,
shout into his face,
let him know
all my heartaches and misery.

even though, i knew
he had already suffered
more than he should have.

but, instead,
all that came out
from my mouth was,

'WHY DIDN'T YOU BRING
AN UMBRELLA WITH YOU?!'
