it frightened her to see
no light behind his eyes
this time.
what was the chaos
that caused such
misery to him?
why did it hurt for her
to witness this?
she was just copying him.
if he was sad,
she would be sad.
if he was happy,
she would be too.
but their stories were
different.
no two outcomes
could be the same.
but she could still be saved.
that was why he had
made a decision
to take care of her
himself
while he can.
