I know I have failed to deliver on this promise before but hear me out - I have already rewritten the whole of the Maze Runner and the whole of the Scorch Trials a couple of years ago.

The Maze Runner section has increased from 14,000 words to 25,000.

The Scorch Trials section has increased from 13,000 to 27,000

There's new interactions, revamps to some classic scenes that I know people enjoyed reading, and a few plot-hole fixes as I started this story when I was 16!

I first wrote this entire book in the span of around two weeks - you can likely tell as Death Cure was the most rushed section that I really didn't think through, as such that section is most likely to have the most intense revamp of them all. This is for the better though! Alice is going to suffer a bit more in that section, sorry but there's a gap of six months in canon and I have many ideas on how to keep her busy in them!

Last you heard from me I made this same promise, but I am going to try my absolute hardest to deliver this time! In 2023 I put out feelers for an initial rewrite, but got distracted by my part-time job basically transforming into a full-time job and consuming my entire life. Now, I am no longer the 16 year old that wrote this!

I don't know how many people still have this story in their libraries, I know Wattpad has changed a lot over the years and introduced so many ads and paywalls, but if you're getting the notification; surprise!
