Cassie's life slowly started to make sense. She had a girlfriend, a group of friends, a brother and money. Everything was just fine. Her relationship with Max was great, they never argued and were together basically everyday. Everyone including Steve figured that the two girls are dating, so they didn't have to hide in front of them.

Cassie's mental health got a lot better. Max found Cassies blade and did everything to be there for the girl. So Cassie didn't touch it for a while now. She wasn't on anti-depressants anymore and didn't have a depressive epizode or panic attack in a long time.

Cassie and Veronica are friends again. But she stopped seeing Sophie and Carol. They were talking shit about her, probably even with Veronica, but Cassie doesn't give a single fuck.

Cassie doesn't smoke as much as she used to. Her parents aren't really home and she's grateful for that. Her and Max are all the time there, but when her parents come home, they have to pretend they are just friends.

This summer is going to be perfect...right?
