Aura's POV

I woke up with a startle, expecting whatever woke me up to attack me. I took a breath before looking around me. The water was lighter than usual, making me think it might be daytime up on land. When I was more awake, I noticed there was a knocking noise at the door.

I looked to my left and saw that Scar was still asleep. I got out of the bed and headed to the door. I opened the door to find Kai and a woman standing outside of the door. "Ah, did I wake you up?" Kai asked. "I'm sorry if I did, but I also needed to. I came because breakfast is ready, also this is Marie she's here to show you guys the closet if you missed it. May she come inside?" Kai asked.

"Scar is still asleep..." I looked behind me to Scar, to see he was still in fact asleep. "Is it possible you could wake him up? He can take a nap after breakfast. Father has a strict rule about everyone eating 3 meals each day." I nodded my head. I slightly closed the door, so there was a tiny sliver that they could see through if they wanted.

I walked over to Scar. Before I could put my hand on his shoulder, he grabbed my arm and put me on the bed with my front on the bed and my arm behind me. "Scar!" I yelled his name to get his attention as he was hurting me slightly.

Kai's POV

"Scar!"

I heard Aura yell Scar's name in pain. I grabbed the door knob, but Marie held my arm back. I looked at her to say something, but she just shook her head and let my arm go. I let go of the door knob and waited for someone to come to the door.

The door knob turned, the door opened up. When Aura opened the door,  I looked in the back and saw Scar looking a little guilty and a bit panicked. "He's fine," Aura said. "Where is the closet?"

Aura's POV

"Follow me, miss. And you too, sir." Marie said. They went inside the room, between Scar's bed and the desk there was a door. 'How did I miss that?' I thought to myself. "I don't think you guys would've saw it last night. It doesn't open like the door to the hall opens. You just have to slide the door and it will disappear into the wall. The door knob is also hidden. Please look where I put my hand." Marie said.

I watched as Marie put her hand on a shell shaped decal and watched it move out to look like a handle. She pulled it to the left and the shell stayed 3d until it hit the wall. It disappeared into the wall making it look like a decal again.

"This is the closet, it also serves as a hiding spot for guest or for children, just in case." She said. "Now to your left is Miss Aura's side and to your right it is Sir Scar's side. Now, I believe you should get ready, it has been a while since we were told to get you for breakfast." Marie said.

I nodded my head we all went out to the bedroom and both Marie and Kai left the room. "I'm sorry Aura," Scar said the second they both left the room. "No, your fine. I knew I probably shouldn't have tried to touch you." I told Scar. Scar shaked his head. "Next time, if need be call my name out. For now, I'm not comfortable to being touched while sleeping." I nodded my head. "Now you should change out of that shirt. I'll stay out here and talk to Kai." Scar said.

I swam into the closet and picked out a simple black shell bra. Once I had that on, I went into the room to find Scar not there, but his shirt folded on the bed.

I went outside the room to find everyone there. Scar and Kai were talking while Maria was listening. Kai saw me as I exited the room.

"Are you ready, Aura?" Asked Kai. I nodded my head.

We headed towards the dining room. Our room was a little farther away, so it took a few minutes for us to be there.

When we entered the room, there was a table in the center with only six chairs on it. There was one chair on two sides and for the other two sides there was two chairs each. The two on the one chair each side was Ace and Poseidon, and on one of the two chairs side Kano was sitting there.

"Hope we weren't too late Father." Kai said as he sat down next to Kano, while Scar and I sat on the opposite side of them. "No, you weren't. I'll tell the chefs to take the meal out now." He turned to a fish and asked for the chefs to come. The fish swam to what I assume was the kitchen.

Two merpeople came out of the door, both holding three dishes. "For breakfast, we have shrimp salad seaweed wraps. Hope you enjoy." One of the merpeople said, they both bow down and then swam back to the kitchen. Everyone picked up there pieces, there were two wraps on everyone elses besides Scar and I's. "We asked the chefs to only give both of you one, because we figured that you wouldn't be able to stomach two." Poseidon told us.

I nodded my head and so did Scar. I appreciated that, because I doubted I would've been able to stomach two. We continued eating until everyone had either been too full or finished their food. There was small talk as we were eating, before Poseidon spoked up. "We haven't gotten the confirmation about the meeting yet, so Kai and Kano would you please go to your lessons. Just because you went on a mission, you still have to do the lessons you missed." Kano sulked and Kai nodded his head looking down, they both left the room.

"Ace would you like to do work or would you want to show Aura and Scar a tour?" Poseidon asked Ace. "I'll take them on a tour." Ace responded. "Alright, I need to go do some paperwork, so Aura and Scar you can just follow Ace." Poseidon said standing up and heading out of the room. I saw a couple of fishes go to the kitchen.

"Alright, there's going to be maids coming into the room to take the plates soon. Would you like to take the tour now?" Ace asked. "Yes, we would like the tour." Scar responded as he was getting up. Ace nodded his head and started getting up too, before going to the door with Scar following him. I stood up and followed them.
