I was never popular, but I could care less. Being popular is basically a death trap. That's what it was like with Ally Monroe. Ally is basically still one of my best friends, but we drifted apart a little. All because of Gina. The most popular girl in school.

School just ended, and my best friend Raven and I were outside the school. Everyone around us were compacted into their little cliques, yelling and talking. It was just Raven and I. She was an indie chick who really had good taste for home decor. We were standing in the mulch on the side of the building. I was playing some of the song Death March while Raven chuckled.

"Your making a fool out of yourself."

She laughed. I rolled my eyes and turned up the volume on my phone. she begins to laugh.

"Enjoying that shitty music?!"

I hear. I pause the song and look. It was Vendetta who made the comment. She was with Gina, Bella and Ally. Ally was standing behind all of them looking guilty. So guilty, it was like she was the murderer on a Dateline special.

"Why the hell do you care?"

I said back. Vendetta was some what afraid of me. She knew she was afraid of me. She tried to act like she wasn't by trying to act all tough.

"We don't want anyone dying."

Bella finished. I roll my eyes. At that moment, Raven got involved.

"Just shut up. She can do whatever she wants. And besides, didn't you play a song in the hall called 'Fucked me right up' once?"

Gina snarls and laughs. Bella and Vendetta laugh with her.

"Doesn't matter. We don't want sluts like you out here anyway. Did someone rape you again?"

She said. I didn't say much. Just thought about my past. I wasn't necessarily raped, but I got in a really gruesome. It only happened for a couple of minutes, but he was still going against my authority. I've had lot's of counseling in the past year and I have severe anxiety. I can defend myself because I been taught sparring as a kid. But that boy was too strong.

Gina's comment made Raven mad. She began to yell at them, but I stood there. I don't understand. I was barely raped, but yet I'm still anxious.

"Go fuck yourself, princesses. One day, a boy will do something unlawful to you and we'll see how you feel then! Sound good to you?!"

I yelled. The three of them stood there staring at me. They were speechless. Gina was till not giving up though.

"Whatever. If any other of my friends sees me with you, I'll have to kill myself."

"Please do."

I snapped. Raven signaled them to leave. Those bitches left big time. I saw Ally look back. She had tears in her eyes. I wanted to go and pull her away, but today wasn't a good day to do any of that. It needed to be Ally to pull herself away. You could say half of me was pissed at her for ditching me and Raven, but we were all good. I had other friends besides Raven. I had Leo Harris and Craig George. Leo was the rebel and Craig was the over achiever.

"You know, the things they were saying were just stuff they were making up at the top of their head."

Raven and I went to her house. We were in her bedroom talking about the incident. We usually discussed these things over a cup of coffee.

"I know, but it still gets under my skin. They made me feel as if I was weak when it came to the whole damn rape thing!"

Raven swallowed the mouthful of coffee in her mouth.

"Like you said, he barely fought with you. And being raped is never anyone's fault."

I nodded and took a sip.

"Oh, I know. They also made me feel like I lost myself."

Raven sighed.

"Your the same as you always were, you just get a bit more stressed. No offense."

I take a sip from my coffee cup and give her a thumbs up. That's the best thing about Raven and I. We always have each others backs and can tell each other anything.
If those girls messed with me again, there'll be hell to pay.
