Y/n and her team finally made it back to the village and after reporting naruto and y/n went straight home fighting over who was going to shower first eventually y/n won and was showering when all the sudden naruto walked in
"Y/N!!!" Naruto said, moving the curtains to the side before turning around to add dramatic affect
"Sakura ditched me on our date for the festival," Naruto said while y/n pulled the curtains back to cover her
"She going with Sasuke instead," Naruto said, crying and pulling back the curtains again
"Naruto, come on, im taking a freaking shower here," y/n said, pulling the curtain. Naruto pulled them back
"And ??" He said dumbfounded
Y/n sighed, covering herself she continued to explain to him
"Your 15 and I am too so we have grown and have different stuff so it natural one would like to take a shower in peace alone without no one interrupting them" y/n said while naruto just look y/n up and down
"So we have taken showers together before," Naruto said
"That's when we were 5!!!!!" Y/n said, Sighing and pulling the curtains
"Did she at least give you another date?" Y/n asked, refering to the festival
Naruto sighed, sitting down
"Yeah, hinata, but she's always so shy around me. It's no fun," Naruto said
Y/n laughed before getting serious
"Naruto, when you think of Sakura, do you see her in your future?" y/n asked while showering
Naruto paused before continuing
"Well, yeah, as a great friend and team mate and girlfriend," Naruto said, blushing at the last part
Y/n paused
"What about hinata? Would you see her as a girlfriend too if she talked to you?" y/n asked, and this made him pause
"Well she's nice , she gave me a healing oil it worked very fast and she also made me lunch once on a mission it tasted very good no joke she would make one heck of a wife, she also gave me a motivational speech on the day of the chunni exam i really wasn't feeling that confident in my self so im very thankful she did " naruto said smiling at the last part
"I think you should give her a chance I know Sakura is a great person but honestly I really hope you chose wisely on who you want" y/n said grabbing a towel and rapping it around herself walking out of the shower she patted his head
"I'm sure your mother would have wanted it too," y/n said, kneeling in front of him. This made him look at her. A small tear appeared on his face at the mention of his mother
"She would, wouldn't she?" Naruto said, having a small smile
" Come to think of it, tell me more about her. I can't seem to remember much about our conversation that day," Naruto said, thinking
Y/n clenched her hands, knowing why
