I looked at my phone, jeeju was still on the line, he must have felt so hurt by Reem's words. I quickly got up and came to the other room.

"Hello" I said

"She hates me, doesn't she?" He asked

"No she doesn't"

"There was so much hatred in her tone for me" he said

My heart hurts at his tone, I know he misses Reem a lot, he should be with her on his birthday.

Athar and I have been trying to bring them face to face for so long, but all our attempts are failing.

That night at the restaurant jeeju left when he saw Reem's car, then we planned a movie, at first Athar and jeeju got stuck in the traffic, and by the time they reached Reem and I left already as she was feeling unwell, there are a couple more failures also, but not tonight, I will bring them closer

"I understand. Don't worry I will send dadi or maa to be with Reem" he said and I facepalmed myself

"I feel so uncomfortable in asking them to come here, jeeju please, why don't you come here" I said as sweetly as possible

"Me? What? You know that's not possible. I can't come in front of Reem"

"You can come here while she's asleep, she anyways doesn't wake up after she takes medicine, so just be around her and I will return in the morning" I asked filling hopefulness in my voice

"I don't think it's a good idea, it's too risky" he sounded so worried, I rolled my eyes

"Ok! What time should I come then?" He asked and I fisted in air, I was happy at my victory.

I was feeling happy, after a while it has happened that I have got what I wanted, jeeju and Reem will be together, while I get to spend time with Athar.

I opened the door for jeeju, he entered the house, his eyes were roaming around.

"She has taken the medicine and now she is sleeping, she won't wake up, don't worry" I said

"Why has she taken the medicine? And which medicine is this that will make her sleep like this?" He asked

"The doctor prescribed it, it's for the body and the mind relaxation, she doesn't take it regularly, but since we have gone to the doctor and she was feeling very tired, so her doctor told her to take the medicine before sleeping" I eased his worry.

"Oh ok" he nodded

"She's asleep now! You can go in the room, and I will leave" I said
