Where do babies come from?

He shouts his clueless piercing demeaning words
The echo doing more harm in the cold room
Reminding her torn stature once again
She's just a girl

His negated words linger like the torn stench of a venomous shoe
Of the destitute by the road side
How many more countless times
Does she have to remind you of that 32-year-old stature you call a man
Your day one when she supported your every need
When all you could weakly do was cry, sleep and mess yourself
Now lately
She simply laughs as she watches you on TV
Speech after speech gooblegook
Yet as you always seem to mock her
You continuously say she's incapable
Can’t you bear the solid truth that she equates you?
Or are you too much of a man to realize that?
I always wonder in complete haze what makes her less than you, because
As far as I am concerned, we both came from dust
And dust we shall return

You sing a song with no rhythm
A song with listeners infested with shallow if not oppressive ideologies
Grant her that tool then that measures capability
Maybe then will she understand?
What measures capability!

Just a women gospel with only one gender submissive followers
She terms them the blind disciples
Clothed in garments held together with seams of intimidation
Yet we all know she is capable

Her child is now 10
And she came from constant arguments
She came from her mother who earnestly looked for validation for her self-worth
She came from makeup sex
That never healed her wounds
She came from misery and pain
It’s petty you don't see it
