"I'm telling you the best buddy cop movie is central intelligence."
"Rhodes, I'm giving you two seconds to change your answer." Sam said as he stared at Rhodey with a challenging look.

"I'm not changing nothing. You're just mad, I'm right."
"There are a million options to choose from, and you choose the lamest one possible *mumbling* says a lot about you."

"What was that, Wilson?!"
"Huh? Nothing."
"Fine, what do you think is the best birdman?"

"Okay, that's just mean. And obviously Rush Hour is the best. Closely followed by Bad Boys."
"That's what everyone says, basic."
"Everyone says it because it's true. It's Chris Tucker!"

Sam's eyebrow perks up as Bucky walks by.
"Bucky!"
"What's up? Why does Rhodes look annoyed? What did you do?"
"Why are you automatically assuming I did something?"

Bucky answers back with a look of 'you know why'
Sam ignores him and carries on with a shrug.
"Okay, which buddy cop movie is the best?"
Bucky looks confused but quickly answers
"Rush hour, closely followed by Bad Boys."

Rhodey throws his hands up in defeat, and Sam grabs Bucky in a hug and says
"Ah, I love you."

Bucky and Sam stare at each other in shock.
"I mean, I didn't mean to say that."
"Oh..."
" wait wait no, I mean... ugh, I mean, I didn't mean to say that right then.
"I get it."
"James, listen to me. I do love you, I always have. I just didn't want to tell you like this."

"It's okay, Sam. I love you too."
Sam has a huge grin on his face as he crushes Bucky into a tight hug.
"I could listen to you say that all day."

Rhodey silently takes a photo of the two and sends it to a group chat called 'SamBucky is endgame'. The chat is full of The Avengers and a few others. Steve printed t-shirts with the photo.
