"I wish to meet you, Shadow.
On a journey, I'd embark.
To ask that you might teach me
How to dance within the dark.Oh, I've seen you from afar,
And every corner knew your name.
For only where you'd swing and sway
The darkness couldn't claim. While all else hid in fear of
What lingered beneath the night
You'd learnt that even darkness
Held a newfound kind of light. The flames we'd never known,
Cast a light that learnt to prance.
As we'd hid within our homes,
And never gave the night a chance.Birds, they may go silent,
But the trees still swing and sway.
And I- so scared of darkness,
Missed all that it'd tried to say.So I write to you now, Shadow.
Begging for a second chance.
If I'm brave enough by midnight
Would you teach me how to dance?"
