I was walking down the road with Klee. I had bought her a lego set she wanted from Walmart.
Klee: I can't wait to build my lego set Y/N!
Y/N: Make sure you don't lose any pieces okay?
Klee: I won't!! I promise!
We were making our way home when a little girl came out of an alleyway and bumped into Klee.
Klee: Ow!
She landed on her bottom and her hat came off. I picked Klee up and dusted her off and picked her hat off the ground. The girl that bumped into Klee stood up and immediately tried apologizing.
???: S-Sorry...I didn't mean too...
Y/N: Oh don't worry kid. Klee here can be very clumsy too!
Klee looks at me while pouting and picks up her lego set. The small girl that bumped into her had messy and unkempt light grey-blue hair and an old brown dress. She looked at me and Klee as if we were going to hit her.
I helped her up and dusted the dirty looking girl off. I heard footsteps approaching us and saw what I'm guessing is a villain with a beak attachment on his face.
Man: Ah there you are Eri! I apologize for the girl's idiotic behavior. She can overreact at the worst times.
Y/N: Um that's quite alright sir.
Klee stood behind my leg out of fear. The white haired girl whispered something I was barely able to make out.
"Help me"!
Y/N: Um, mister, is your kid okay? She's shaking like crazy!
Man: Oh she's fine now-
Before he could finish his sentence, he looked down at Klee and I could tell by the look on his face he wanted to do something to her.
Man: I'm gonna need that girl.
Y/N: Who Klee?
Man: Yes her...
Y/N: Fuck off you pervert. She's my daughter you weirdo!
The man turned angry and tried approaching me but Klee pulled a pipe bomb out of her pocket and threw it at the guy's beak. It got caught between the jaw and upper part and the timer went off.
Y/N: Take cover!
I grabbed both of the girls and took cover behind a dumpster. The timer blew off and the man was now destroyed. The three of us came out of the dumpster and dusted ourselves off.
Y/N: Whew that was fun!
Klee: Yup! He went boom! Hee hee.
???: Um...thanks for helping me...now...where should I go from here?
Me and Klee stop celebrating and looked at the now homeless girl.
Y/N: Well to your parents of course!
???: But...I don't have any....
Klee: Ha! Loser!!
I smacked Klee on the back of her head! She yelped and rubbed her head.
???: I...don't have any family or friends...
Klee: Y/N! We have to do something!
I looked at the homeless girl and and Klee. Should I take in this poor kid? In the end I let out my hand for the girl to take.
Y/N: Come with us. Me and my daughter here are making dinner and I think you'll like it.
The girls innocent red eyes went wide from wonder. She took it and we all started heading home. On the way home, the girl introduced herself a Eri. She claimed to be used as a lab rat basically which I did feel bad about. Klee started talking to the girl as if they were long time best friends or sisters.
Finally, we had reached our apartment. I unlocked the door and stepped inside. Klee ran inside and jumped on the couch.
Klee: Come on Eri! Over here!
Eri walked over to the couch slowly and shyly. They both sat on the couch and watched a couple of episodes from a Hello Kitty cartoon.
I was busy making them some dinner. It was clear Eri was still a bit shy about being with new people but she slowly started opening up to Klee. When dinner arrived, I set their plates down and called them to the table. They both walked over to the table with Klee holding Eri's hand.
Eri: This...is for me?
Y/N: Yup! Now eat up Eri!
She grabbed her fork and ate up. Both of the girls had an eating contest of sorts in which Klee ended up being the victor.
Klee: Wooo! I win!
Y/N: Hey Klee! Be nice!
Eri: It's okay. She won.
After dinner Klee was building her new lego set with Eri.
Eri: Can I help?
Klee: Hmmmm I don't know...
Y/N: Hey Klee, let Eri play with you!
Klee: Awww do I have to???
Y/N: If you don't I'll ground you for a week.

Both of the kids worked on the toy until it was 9pm.
Y/N: Alright Klee it's time for you to sleep! And as for you Eri...
Eri: Hm?
Y/N: Do you plan on staying with us or would you like me to help you find another family?
Eri thought about it for a minute before finally making up her mind.
Eri: I don't mind staying.
Y/N: In that case, welcome to your new home Eri! I will be your parent from no on!
Klee: And I will be your awesome sister! Woo!
Eri smiled with excitement. But before she went to bed, I had her and Klee take a shower and put on some pajamas. After their bath, they came out of the bathroom and showed me their matching themed pajamas.
It looks like Klee will be sharing a room with Eri.
Y/N: Alright goodnight you two!
Eri & Klee: Goodnight Y/N!
I closed the door and went to my room. When trying to sleep, I felt good about myself. Me and Klee helped rescue a girl off the streets. Only time will tell on what will happen to the three of us.
