MUSIC BLASTING FROM THE SPEAKERS, as me and alicia step into the venue, bodies glistening under the evening sunset.
The venue was like a rooftop club with a beautiful view of the ocean.
As i continue to admire the beauty in front of me ,i figure out the girl that promised me she wouldn't leave my side is now chatting and socialising with people.
I walk over to the chair's that were facing the glass fence on the view as i feel someone's shadow infront of me
"Why are you here?" My best friend asks seeing my distressed face .
She sits next to me and points at the familiar face that was already looking my way .
I quickly wave and turn back to the girl with a smile
"won't you go up to him?" she says hesitantly
i look at her suprised as she guesses the answer.
after a long lecture we stand up and go to the main floor .
People did recognise me , which surprised me do in the meanwhile i kept my self busy by talking to people and answering questions.
I feel arms go around my shoulders while i scan the crowd for my friend.
"though i would have to drag you out of the house before coming" he says joking
"nah, i decided to get some air and this seems to be the perfect place to do so" i add pointing at the view infront of us
He turns to me looking at the short pearly dress i had on before staring back up at me. he notices the expression and proceeds
"nothing. you just look good" he said touching the hair that's was resting on my neck.
I quickly laugh it off before the dj starts calling out the people to the floor to go ahead with the listening party .
Cee transfers his hand from around my shoulders to my waist making my gulp immediately, he guides me towards the center of the club and starts greeting friends and invites.
I noticed ittle "is she your girl?" and giggles while he was introducing me but i brushed it off not taking the comments into consideration.
The Dj played the most antipated songs from the mixtape and surprisingly—Retail Therapy started to play. The crowd was impressed and they enjoyed the song bringing a huge smile to my face
Cee's grip quickly tightens around my waist as he announces that the song was made by me. People started congratulating me about the record and wished me luck on future projects.
I left Cee and went to the chairs next to the ocean view, It was already nighttime and you could see the moon's reflection in the ocean and i just thought about everything that has been going on in the previous hours.
"You've left me all aloneStar-girl" Cee says interrupting my deep thinking session
"Is that what you call me now?" I say wiping the little tears from my cheek. I smile at him as i see his concerned face
"You deserve all of this and more you know" he says while standing up to hug me. I feel his breathing on my neck as he hugs me even more as if taking in my fragrance.
"Now lets go have fun" he adds before kissing my forehead
