The darkened room flashed occasionally as Jungkook posed for the camera as instructed. Some photos were taken alone while others were shot with his beloved guitar which honestly made him feel a bit more comfortable considering it was his first time doing a photo shoot without his bandmates. It was weird for him to be the center of attention, but it was also an exciting feeling knowing he was going to be on the cover of Guitar World as the year's best guitarist.

After the news had officially broken out of their relationship with Lyla and the backlash they endured from it all over the past couple of months, he was just waiting for the magazine to give him a call and let him know that he was stripped of his award. But to his and everyone's surprise, that call never came. Many fans had unfollowed the band on social media, their listeners on streaming devices plummeted, and the nasty comments they came across took a toll on all of them. Especially Lyla. On the other hand, the amount of interviews increased and although it took a while for the focus to get back to the music instead of their personal lives, it eventually started to ease up.
Slowly but surely, things started getting back to a new normal. New fans started tuning into their music and appreciating them not trying to conform to what everyone else wanted them to be. Lyla even gained a fanbase all on her own and ended up doing a few YouTube appearances by herself. More people began to know her, understanding more and more how she was able to get all three of the band members to fall in love with her. As time passed, the hate comments began to calm down and the sun seemed to begin shining again.
Glancing over at Lyla as she stood behind the monitor with her arms crossed and a proud smile on her face as she watched multiple pictures of him pop up on the screen, Jungkook's eyes sparkled with a fondness that was able to be captured by the photographer. Noticing the difference, she raised her head and gave a little wink to him making him grin and his boyish dimples appear. Just the sight of her made the awkwardness of doing this alone seem to vanish.
"All right, I think that's a wrap! Thank you, JK, for giving us your time!" The photographer yelled over the loud music happily while the room clapped and cheered.
