Opening the backseat door of his brother's Tesla, Shinobi watches his three youngest siblings file out. As much as Shy wanted to keep his distance from his father, he agreed with Laith on one thing, at least get to know his brothers and sisters.
So on this Saturday afternoon, they're spending the day with them. He agreed to take the three young children out for something fun with Laith.
In the Knott's Berry Farm parking lot, Shinobi places his hand on his little brother's head to keep him from excitedly running away. He looks down at Tion, Etienne, and Sincere with a smile more so for his inner child.
When they were growing up, they weren't taken to theme parks. He was surprised when Laith said their father and step-mother approved of the outing.
In a car parked next to them, their friend, Rahzil, gets a stroller prepared for his daughter. "Wholesome fun. This place was always like my grandmama house with rollercoasters. We should bring them back on Halloween," Rahzil suggests.
Laith and Shy both bust out laughing. "Our preacher daddy ain't going for that. Knott's Scary Farm?"
"You're right. Plus, you come on the wrong Saturday night and you might get shot," Rahzil shakes his head before looking at Shy's brother, Tion. "Crazy how he looks just like you."
