She huffed tiredly as she looked down, playing with her hands,

"Miles, I'm really sorry" She whispered,

"I know, you've made it clear" He said as he spared her a glance,

"And I, I" She whispered, finding it hard to actually say it,

It was much easier in her head,

"You what?" He asked as he watched her through his peripheral view,

"I really want you back, I want us to put this behind us and move on, I want everything to be normal again" She murmured,

"I know" He answered,

"I understand, you still don't believe me, it's fine" She whispered, as her hand wandered to her kneecaps, gripping them anxiously,

"I do" Miles answered casually,

"So you're not mad at me?" Nevaeh asked, surprise embracing her features,

"I was never mad at you, Nevaeh" He answered immediately,

"So, you've forgiven me?" Nevaeh asked,

"And forgotten" He retorted,

A small smile graced her lips as she placed her hands on the bench,

"Just..." Miles sighed, closing his eyes,

Nevaeh looked up at him, drinking up his enchanting side profile,

"Let's not keep any more secrets from each other" He whispered,

"Deal" She smiled,

"I missed you, Vivi" He whispered, placing his hand on the bench,

"I missed you too" She whispered as she cautiously placed her hand over his, gently,

He took her hand, intertwining their fingers before pulling her closer to himself,

Wrapping his arm around her shoulder,

Nevaeh smiled as she snuggled into his warmth, wrapping her arms around him,

He kissed her head, before sighing into her hair,

A sigh of relief and a sense of inner peace,

Their eyes were closed and the cemetery was pretty silent,

They listened to the patterns of their breaths and heartbeats,

Nevaeh shuddered as she felt a hand on her lap,

She opened her eyes,

"Hiiiii" The girl squealed, placing her other hand on Miles' lap, causing him to open his eyes,

"Ohh, heyy babyyy" Nevaeh cooed as she caressed the little girl's cheek,

"Tara? What are you doing here?" Miles chuckled,

The girl laughed in response as she made a grabby hand gesture to Nevaeh,

Happily, she picked the girl up, smiling as the girl wrapped her arms around her,

Nuzzling her face into the crook of her neck,

Tara giggled as she jumped in Nevaeh's embrace before turning her head to look at Miles who placed a hand over his face,

"Oouu, where is Miles, Tara? Where is he?" Nevaeh giggled,

"Uhhhh" Tara mumbled as a frown appeared on her face, her eyebrows furrowing in concentration,

"Boo" Miles said as he took off his hands from his face, causing the girl to laugh hysterically,

"There he is" Nevaeh smiled as the girl giggled,

"See him, see him" Tara giggled, tapping her shoulder,

"Yeah, that's him" Nevaeh smiled at her,

"Oh no, where's he gone again, Tara?" Nevaeh asked as Miles covered his face again,

"I don't knowww" Tara whined,

"Boo" Miles laughed,

Nevaeh heart fluttered at the sound,

"Aarggghh, see him, see him" Tara giggled, making grabby hands to Miles,

"Who's my pretty baby?" He smiled as he took her from Nevaeh,

"Meeeee" Tara giggled as she hugged him,

Nevaeh was shocked and surprised, she'd never seen this side of Miles before,

So he wasn't playing when he said he loved kids,

Nevaeh was entranced by the Miles she gazed upon, his guard let down, smiling and laughing with a kid,

She could have never imagined this,

Not even in her wildest dreams,

Seeing him happy warmed her heart, It made her almost want to give him a kid of his own,

"Tara, there you are" Her mother sighed as she ran up to them,

Tara giggled, hugging Miles tightly,

"Oh, you two?" She said in surprise,

"It's nice to see you again" Nevaeh smiled,

"I'm sorry about Tara, she just ran off, I've been looking for her" Her mother sighed,

"Oh, it's fine, we enjoyed her company" Miles smiled,

"Okay Tara, let's go" Her mother cooed,

"Noo, I wanna stay with theeemm" She whined, tears filling up her eyes,

"Tara" her mother said sternly,

"NO" Tara adamantly refused, hugging Miles tighter.
