"Zimal, Kahan ho yaar? For god's sake, It's the first day of the university" A girl's voice echoed in the car and Zimal sighed taking a turn around the road

"I'm on my way, Alisha. I'm taking a short cut and the roads are kind of new to me so I'll be with you in a maximum of 10 minutes" Zimal replied, checking the arrival time on the navigation app

"What! Are you crazy? You don't even know the roads! What if something happens?" Alisha exclaimed in a worried voice. Her best friend always had something to give her mini heart attacks

"Don't worry. Kuch nahi hoga. Now let me focus on driving. I'll meet you at the university. Byeee" Zimal said, taking another turn. The road was clear and surrounded by trees.

"Be safe, Byee"

"I will be" Zimal smiled cutting the call off and turning her focus to the road. The road was unfamiliar to her as it was her first time seeing it.

Suddenly, her car came to a halt and her eyes widened in shock

"No wayyy" She exclaimed, trying to start the car but it didn't work. Coming out, she opened the car bonnet and stared at the engine with empty eyes

"I wish I had learned how to check the engine" She said with a pout, remembering her father's constant pleas to learn it

"Alisha, itni kaali zuban!" She exclaimed as she remembered Alisha's words 'What if something happens?'

Looking around the empty road, her heart dropped thinking of all the possible bad things that could happen to her.

The noise of a car broke her trance as she looked back and saw a grey car coming her way. The car stopped a few steps away from her and the driver rolled down the window

"I think your car broke down. Do you need any help?" A man who looked in his early twenties asked in a concerned voice

"No, Thank you" She declined in a polite tone

'No matter how handsome and decent he looks, I shouldn't trust him' She thought in her mind

"But I think you do" He said, stepping out of the car and walking towards hers. She looked at him in shock before it got replaced with a glare

"Maine kaha naa ke I don't need any help" She blocked his way and repeated her words

"Aur maine bhi kaha naa ke aapko meri help ki zaroorat hai" He said in a calm tone before walking past her.

"Dekhein aap mujhe force mat karein" She threatened him

"Karonga main force, kya karlein gi aap?" He stopped and looked back at her whose eyes widened in realization. What could she possibly do without any pepper spray or protection gadgets

"Dekha, isliye keh raha hoon ke let me help you. Itni sun'san jagah par aapka akela hona theek nahi hai" He said and started checking the engine while she kept looking at him with a grumpy expression
