Same night
Saanvi
Saanvi had been having a hard time trying to manage her work and her feelings. She took a little break from her work to regroup her mind, and that is when she got a call.

"Alex?" She whispered to herself confused.

She didn't want to answer the call so she left her phone ringing. Saanvi didn't even know why she would be calling, it just didn't make sense. They broke up.

After a few times of the phone ringing Saanvi was just fed up and answered it.

"You should've been blocked by now," Saanvi said madly.

"I'm sorry, Vi.."

"I can't do this anymore." You said what you needed to say. It's fine. It's done. Have a good n-"

"Saanvi just please... let us talk."

"We did."

"I didn't say everything I wanted."

"I don't have time for this. You should've said it already. I am done playing your games."

"I didn't say everything I wanted because I didn't want to argue with you. I thought it would be better to just let it go. Saanvi I-"

"Well, are you looking for an argument now? Because I'm not!"

The door to her lab opens. Apparently she didn't lock it.

"I have to go," Saanvi says hanging up and then dropping her phone on the countertop.

Ben comes in.

"What?" She asks, annoyed.

"Now isn't a good time?" Ben asked. "You're door was unlocked."

"Well yes, I can clearly see because you've made you way in here."

"Should I go?"

"Yes. I- no. Uh. I don't know I'm done. I'm done with everything."

"You wanna tell me what's going on?"

Saanvi sighed. "Close the door behind you."

Ben closes the door. "What's going on?"

"Me and Alex broke up."

"I'm sorry," Ben said. He gave her a hug.

"It's alright," she replied, pulling away.

"Me and Grace are getting a divorce."

"Oh, I'm so sorry, Ben."

Ben sighed and looked away. She smiled sadly at him.

"It's okay," he said.

"We can talk about it if-"

"It's fine. How are you doing?"

"Alex is getting on my nerves. I want to scream, I want to cry, I want to everything. She never listens to me!" She sighed heavily and shook her head. "I can't keep doing this."

"So... who were you just talking to."

"Alex..."

"Saanvi!"

"I know, I know. You don't need to remind me."

"Why did you answer?"

"Well first of all she called me. I didn't answer at first, but she called me repeatedly and I knew she wasn't going to stop."

"You didn't block her at that point."

"No..."

"Do it now."
