My dearest Hades,
oh, how I have longed for you
these treacherous days and forlorn nights,
I do thrive under the sun,
but my heart and soul yearn for you
every moment I am away from you,
my heart withers, the fruity ecstasy of spring going awry,
slowly and slowly, day by day,
until I can take it no moreand when I finally return back to you
even the skies weep
and the sun dims
knowing my heart has found its way back home
againbut oh, my darling
I would leave this life, and every other that I have ever known,
just to be another breath
closer to you
I would gladly give up this crown of life
to dance in the flames
with youYours, forever and after
Persephone// a love letter to death
