The Company trudged through the Wilderness of Eriador, their footsteps echoing through the silent landscape. In the distance, the Misty Mountains rose like a dream, their snow-capped peaks a vision of ethereal beauty. Over ranges, rivers, and waterfalls they passed, their movements slow and deliberate, as if they were part of the landscape itself.

As they journeyed on, their path grew steeper and more treacherous, leading them higher and higher until they towered over the fields below

Finally, the Company found themselves at the foot of the vast mountain range, a massive expanse of rock and snow that seemed to stretch on endlessly into the distance.

The Misty Mountains.

The Company began to climb, their hands and feet finding purchase on the rough terrain as they made their way higher and higher, framed against the endless blue sky behind them. The air grew thin and the wind howled around them, but they pressed on, their determination unshakable.

As they climbed, the world around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the Dwarves, a Hobbit, a Ranger and the mountain. The sky above them was a deep shade of blue, almost as if it were painted by the Valar themselves. The snow sparkled in the distance like diamonds in the sunlight, and the rocks were like sculptures, carved by the hands of ancient giants.

They pressed on, their spirits lifted by the beauty of their surroundings. They knew that the journey ahead would be difficult, but they were undeterred.

The warmth of the day was not to last, and the weather had taken a turn for the worst.

The storm was unlike anything the dwarves had ever seen before. Its power was unmatched, its fury unrelenting. Lightning strikes illuminated the dark sky with their blinding light, while thunder rumbled through the mountains like an angry beast. Rain poured down in sheets, drenching everything in its path. The Company were soaked to the bone, their clothes clinging to their skin.
