Why is it that humans are the only ones that lie?

The underwear thief was never found, and I was forced to move a boy's tent.

The blue hair girl confronted me and Kiyotaka.

"I know all of us have some problems... but I find the theft of a girl's underwear unforgivable."

I knew she took, but didn't say anything about it. She spoke again.

"I'm sure you two must've thought I took it right? I am an outsider after all. Sudo isn't the only one who suspects me."

"Sudo's glaring at you right now. You know that, right?"

"I agree... if I were in your position, I wouldn't trust someone from another class either-"

In that moment, Kiyotaka and I said similar things.

Kiyotaka said "I trust you."

While I said "I have faith in you."

She was surprised, and had a blush.

"T-thanks... I didn't expect this..."

I spoke.

"We were just responding honestly."

I put on a staged smile, and patted her back.

"I'm sure you wouldn't do that! Your leader is a douchebag and you know it too."

She had a smile, and for a second, you'd think she was really innocent. I used to fall for that, but I've changed for the better.

 We like to lie with smiles on, don't we?

The next day, I decided to walk around the woods.

I decided to see how class 1B was doing.

I decided not to do that, and instead destroy class 1C.

When I walked to where they were, I decided to pretend to give in.

"You changed your mind?" The leader guy asked.

"I just wanted to see how things around here were going, that's all! I wanted to know what happened to the girl with the blue hair."

"Oh! She misbehaved, and needed to be taught a lesson, that's all."

"That's all I needed! Goodbye! I'm sure my class needs me."

I left and decided to wander the island a bit more.

When I got back, Suzune was gone, and everyone was in a panic.

The next day, we were given the special test's results.

The ranking went, D, B, A, C.

The two bottom classes were in shock.

I looked at Kiyotaka and smirked.
