I sit up. "You're not going back to school?"
"Nope. I'm not going to work either. My attention will be 100% on you."
"But I'm ok. I don't know why I was shaking earlier. You can go to show choir."
"Mrs. Holt switched around the partners for the 100nth time. Luckily I'm with Mary so she doesn't mind working on the song tomorrow. My entire afternoon is open."

"She does. I didn't tell her. She overheard Mads boasting about the fight."
"Mary is probably laughing it up with Jonathan-"

I frown. "What?"
"Mary came into the principle's office with the intention of exposing Mads. She was the one who brought up the post."

"Mhm. Without me even telling her that I was going to report Mads."
"Still, she's probably laughing at me. Her bestie Heather made a comparison post and she was living for it."
