3.Cafe

|Chapter 3|
"Life is hard, But at least I have a pretty best friend."

I was finally done with arranging my room. It looks nice and beautiful and cozy.

"June what do you think about this?" I asked her about her opinion on the room.

"June!" "June." I yelled out her name.

"I'm so sorry,I was talking to the dick face I call a brother" she said with a slight frown on her face.

"You have a brother?" I ask her with a raised eyebrow.

I knew it the boy in the picture looks a lot more like her. But he has blonde hair while she is a brunette..

"Yes,I do." " He is in his third year studying psychology".

"Enough about my brother now let's head out".

She pulled me by my arm and dragged me out of the room. We stepped out of building then start our walk to the school cafeteria. While admiring the view of the cafe June suddenly jumped in front of me with her arms wide opened and a wide grin on her face. I looked at her with my eyebrows raised, she then rolled her eyes at me playfully.

"What!!" "Well, welcome to dandelion cafe & bakery" she gestured with her arms still wide opened.

"Okay then. Let's go in and order. I'm starving I could eat a whole whale." I said while rubbing my hand on my stomach.

She laughed at me playfully then slightly pushed me into the cafeteria. We walked into the cafeteria hand in hands to the girl behind the counter.

"Hi, welcome dandelion cafe&bakery would you like to place an order?"

"We'd love to place our order now." "I'd like to have a croissant and a strawberry smoothie" June said her order to the lady.

"How about you Miss?"

*Um I have your chocolate doughnuts with sparking Sprite and extra ice" I said with a smile.

" That would be $12.99"

We payed her the exact amount then walked away with her trays in our hands.

"So, we are meeting my brother and his friends over at table 6" she said while smiling.

I snapped my neck over to face her. I raised my eyebrow and gave her a questioning look.

"I Know", " I Know" She gave me an apologetic look.

" I was supposed to tell you but it skipped my mind" she pouts her lips while looking at me. I sighed then turned to her.

"Fine." She squealed upon receiveing my answer.

Upon reaching the table,I saw two guys arguing with one another while the last guy who I didn't notice at first sat at the extreme end looked bored out of his mind at the same time staring at his phone.

I turned to face June to see her rolling her eyes while muttering something along the lines"her brother being a baby."

She slammed her plate of food onto the table so as to notify them of our presence.I turned my gaze to admire the interior of the cafeteria.

I inhaled a gasp while staring at the cafe on to land my gaze on a guy or should I say man. He was placed under a bright light so I took this as an opportunity to properly admire him. And when I did,my mind immediately went into auto pilot. The man seating with the three guys before me, was absolutely beautiful.

His face was something you would see in those Greek mythology books. He looked like he had been sculpted by the Gods somewhere, A place which had blessed the fortunate such as himself with bronzed terracotta skin. Skin that made him sweetly intense but still exceedingly direct. Travelling my my eyes down to his lips i sucked in a breath. His lips were drawn to a downward close frown, a shade of pink stood out,coated with a faint stubble.

After realising I was gawking at the man like a fish out of water. I quickly snap out of my stricken daze then I averted my gaze to the other two guys. However when I do,the recognition hits me like a ton of bricks one of the guy sitting before me is the person i saw in the picture.

"Olivia" a voice calls out which makes me snap my gaze unto June as the source of the caller. My breath levels out at the sound of her voice since my gaze was no longer on the man before me.

But once i meet June's eyes, she gave me a look of concern, her eyebrows slightly raised in confusion. "Lily,are you okay?"

At the question I looked at her " yes,i am doing perfectly okay, why did you ask?"

" You were staring at nothing in particular for few minutes.", " You Know what let's have a seat"

We both sat down,June then introduced me to the guys.

"Well,my name is Anthony Demetrius this brat brother,he pointed his finger at June. And this is Dylan and that is Alex over there. Dylan raised his head and waved at the mention of his name with his mouth filled with cookies.

" Pleasure to meet you" her brother introduced himself and his friends before he sticks his hand out for me to shake.

However I quickly realized that i was again has been staring at Alex that sat at the extreme end for too long since the Alex had suddenly quirked an eyebrow at my inquisitive stare and so i abruptly take Anthony's hand with mine and shake it. A blush setting on my cheeks whilst I did.

"Pleasure to meet you guys, I'm Olivia! But everyone do calls me Lilly or Ollie. I don't mind either name."

"Okay Olivia, nice to meet you once more'' he said with a smile.

I then decide to stuff my face with my food since June has occupied herself with her brother. I couldn't help but close my eyes and inwardly moaned when the piece got to my taste buds. I opened my eyes only to meet the stares of June and Dylan smiling at me while Anthony was on his phone and Alex was nowhere to be found. I averted my gaze downward with blush coating my cheeks.

"I told you this cafe if dope and their are to die for"June told me with her hand on my shoulder.

I couldn't help but ask of the whereabout of Alex. They sure do say curiosity kills the cat.

" June, where is Alex?"

"Oh, he has some where else to be"I couldn't help it but feel sad and disappointed that he left without saying goodbye. I do not understand where the feeling came from.

After,we all finished eating we decided it was time to leave to our respective homes. June said her goodbye to her brother. Dylan waved at me while entering into the car, Anthony's also waved then he drove off.

"Thanks for today, I enjoyed it" I turned to face June with a smile.

" It sure was nothing" we both went home with our hands joined together.

A/n;The longest chapter of this book,maybe. I hope you like it. Forgive me if it's not up to your expectations. I'll work on the next upcoming scenes.
