They next day, nagpaalam na sila sa prinsipe.
"Do you really need to go Caia? You can stay here."
"Hindi na Prince Hector. Salamat sa pagtanggap mo rito sa amin."
"And I will be forever indebted to you, Caia. Thank you. By the way, here's the crystal. I hope you can finally go home."

Niyakap siya ng prinsipe.
"If ever you wanted my help you can send me a letter. I'll definitely come."
She nodded.
"And if you change your mind and like to be my wife you can come back any time."
She smiled. Napakabait nito. Lumakad na sila.
"Sigurado ka bang ayaw mong magpaiwan? Life in the palace would be nice, may mga utusan ka at may gwapo ka pang prinsipe" ani Rayden.
"But that's not what I wanted. I want to go home and be with my family. This is not my world."
"Kapag nabuo na natin ang crystal, uuwi ka na ba talaga sa inyo? Hindi ka na ba namin ulit makikita?" ani Mallows.
"Maybe, I don't know. In the first place, hindi dapat ako nandito eh."
"Kung ganoon I wish that the crystal will never be complete" ani Mallows saka iniwan sila.

Susundan niya sana si Mallows nang hawakan ni Rayden ang braso niya.
"Let him go, nag-iinarte lang ang batang 'yan. He will be back."
"Pero Rayden, mapanganib kung gagala siya ng mag-isa rito. Sundan na natin siya."
"Our concern is to look for the crystals kung hindi iyon maintindihan ni Mallows we don't need him."
"Talaga ba Rayden, how can you say that? Oo nga pala selfish ka naman pala dati pa. Kung ayaw mo siyang hanapin fine, you can stay here."
"Why do you care? Aalis ka naman talaga rito after the crystal is complete so why bother? Mas masasaktan lang si Mallows if he will continue making memories with you."
Natigilan siya but somehow he has a point. Mallows.....
"Stay here ako na ang maghahanap sa kanya" Rayden said.
Bahagya siyang tumango. They took so long to come back. Nang dumating si Rayden, hindi nito kasama si Mallows.
"Hindi mo ba siya nakita?"
"I found him. But he don't want to come. Hayaan na lang muna natin siya Caia."
"I can talk to him, nasaan ba siya?"
"I said, give him some time. You called me selfish but now you are just like me. Hintayin na lang natin siya rito. I told him to come tomorrow before the sun rises if he won't come we will continue this journey, you and me."
Naiintindihan niya. Hindi niya akalain na naging selfish siya sa oras na 'yon, dapat naiintindihan niya ang nararamdaman ni Mallows. He's just a kid afterall.
"Go sleep. I'll wake you tomorrow" ani Rayden.
"Sige."
But she can't fall asleep. Her mind wonder where Mallows right now and if he's all right.
"He is fine, Caia" Rayden said.
"Ha? Did you just read what is on my mind?"
"Always. I'm a kitsune remember."
Oh damn, so he knows all what I said to him?
"Yes, all that backstabbing you did" sagot ng lalake.

"Fine" he lazily answered.
The next day the sun rises but Mallows nowhere to be found.
"Tara na, Caia" saad ni Rayden.
"Please, can we wait for a little."
"Malinaw ang sinabi ko sa kanya, ngayon dahil wala pa siya rito aalis na tayo whether you like it or not. Let's go."
"Just five minutes, baka may pinuntahan pa siya kaya wala pa siya rito."
"Hindi na darating 'yon."
Tatalikod na sana sila nang dumating na humahangos si Mallows.
"Mallows? Hindi ka na ba galit?"
"I'm sorry for being selfish, Caia."
"No you're not, naiintindihan naman kita."
"I won't stop you from returning home but can you visit us often?"
Tumingin siya kay Rayden.
"Fine, you can borrow the ring for you to go home or whenever you like to come here again."
"Talaga?"
"I just said it."
"Salamat."
They passed the wolf teritory. So Mallows warned her to be extra careful. But she lost her way when she gathered some herbal leaves to clean Rayden's wound.
In a while, a group of wolf surrounded her. She don't even have the chance to use her trident because they moved too fast. She was abducted. Nilagay siya ng mga ito sa isang kulungan.
"Anong gagawin ninyo sa akin? Pakawalan niyo ako rito."
"Huwag kang matakot binibini wala kaming gagawin sayo."
Iniwan siya ng mga ito. Ano na ang gagawin niya? Rayden, Mallows please save me.
