Nariah's P.O.V

"We can't keep doing this." Nariah sighed pulling her shirt over her head.

"Man Riah , I ain't tryna hear that right now." He smacked his teeth before lighting his blunt. "We both grown , why you so worried about Kay?" He questioned.

"Cause that's my Bestfriend Mere. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't want me fucking her brother." She rolled her eyes grabbing the blunt.

"Like I said , we grown." He shrugged before putting his basketball shorts back on. "When you gon stop playing and let me wife you ?" He questioned walking over to me.

"I told you I'm not looking for a relationship right now." I exhaled passing the blunt back. "I gotta go alright ?" I sighed picking up my purse.

"Ight Riah , you been saying that shit for two years now yo." He sucked his teeth. "Let me know when you get home and I'm not playing." He said sternly grabbing my neck and kissing my lips.

"Mhmm. I will." I mumbled as I kissed him back.

   I turned around and grabbed my keys off his dresser before leaving his room. I walked down the hall and out his apartment. Kashmere was my sneaky link , as well as my best friend's brother. We've been fucking for the last two years but she still didn't know. I just didn't wanna complicate our friendship or her relationship with her brother.
    Pardon self , I didn't even introduce myself. I'm Nariah Emoni Lewis , I'm 21 years old and I reside in New Jersey. Dirty ass Newark to be specific. I hated living in Newark it was so damn ghetto. After my mom died this is all we had left. It was me and my two siblings. My older brother Nasir was 27 and my little sister Nyla was 15 they meant everything to me. And as badly as I wanted to leave Newark , I couldn't leave without them.

   Just as I pulled in front of our two family house my phone started ringing.  I looked at the screen and saw it was my best friend Kaydence calling.

"Wassup boo ?" I answered.

"Bestieeeeeeee." She dragged. I sighed just knowing she wanted something.

"No Kay." I spoke.

"Why you saying no , I didn't even ask anything yet." She sucked her teeth.

"Cause I already know you bout to ask for something and the answer is no." I chuckled grabbing my purse and hopping out the car. It was just after 9pm and I was tired sl.

"Even if I told you ya man gon be at barcode ?" She smirked.

"Who ?" I asked raising one eyebrow.

"So that means you'll go ?" She asked getting excited.

"I guess I can pop out." I sighed rolling my eyes. "I just got back home so ima get ready." I spoke while walking into my room.

"Mhmm , you coming from that sneaky link house ?" She teased.

"Girl bye. I'll call you when I'm ready." I laughed hanging up. Any time Kay got into the topic of my sneaky link I always changed the subject or brushed it off.  Part of me felt like Kay knew about me and Mere. Another part of me hoped she didn't.

  Just as I grabbed my towel to head to the bathroom my phone rung again. Letting out a deep breath I rolled my eyes and picked the phone back up. Seeing his name on my screen I groaned to myself.

"Didn't I tell yo hard headed ass to text me when you got home ?" He asked irritated.

"Mere I just got home though , you didn't even give me time." I said turning the shower on.

"Yea whatever , don't be going outside thinking you grown. I'll come up there and embarrass y'all." He huffed.

"Boy I am grown." I laughed.

"Yea you grown , but Kaydence not. I'm not playing with y'all." He spoke sternly.

Kay was two years younger then me , but I never let her age bother me. She was so mature and a real ass bitch , most of the time I forgot she was younger.

"Mere you know I'm not gon let nothing happen to her. Just chill." I sighed. "Now can I get ready ?" I asked finally looking in the camera. I couldn't front Mere was fine as hell , but I just couldn't take it there with him. It's bad enough we fucking. I never even seen Mere in a serious relationship. I refused to let his ass play me

"Yea gon head and get ready. You might as well come back over here later." He licked his lips. "You know you gon want daddy dick anyways." He smirked.

"Bye Amari." I laughed hanging up the phone.

After my 15 minute shower I was back in my room looking for a outfit. I really wanted to wear a sweatsuit and call it a day but I knew that wouldn't fly with barcode.

"Na Na ?" I heard from the other side of my door.

"Come in Ny." I called back to my sister.

"Hey sister , where you getting ready to go ?" She asked sitting on my bed.

"Kay ass wanna go to barcode." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh gosh , y'all better hope Mere crazy ass don't pull up." She laughed. Surprisingly, my little sister was the only person who knew about Kashmere and I.

"His nut ass." I mumbled shaking my head. I finally decided on some simple ripped American eagle jeans and a crop that covered my titties just enough.

"Oh yea , he definitely pulling up." She cackled while looking me up and down. "I hope my ass get like yours when I turn 20." She pouted.

I finished getting ready while Nyla told me about her day. I loved that my little sister felt comfortable enough to talk to me about anything. At the end of the day we didn't have anybody else. I finished up my edges before spraying perfume on my body.

"Come on Ny, come take my pics real quick."
I said grabbing my purse and heading downstairs.

I grabbed my leather jacket off the coat rack before stepping on the porch with Nyla. I passed her my phone and started posing.

"Yea bitch ! Who sister ??! MINE !" She yelled gassing me up.

"You a mess." I chuckled grabbing the phone. "Let me call Kay and see if she ready." I mumbled more to myself.

"You on ya way ?" She asked picking up the FaceTime call.

"Yea I'm bout to leave my house. You ready ?" I questioned before pulling out my blunt.

"Yea , I'm finishing my hair now." She nodded.

"Bet." I replied ending the call. "Ight Ny, I'm bout to slide. I'm most likely staying with Mere tonight." I rolled my eyes. "So call me if you need anything." I finished.

"Be safe sissy , I love you." She called as I walked off the porch.

"I love you more. Tell Nas I'll be back in the morning." I replied before getting in my car. I sat my blunt in the ashtray and started up my car.

"Tonight should be fun." I muttered to myself.
