It had been at least two weeks since his conversation with Santana in the hall and to his knowledge she did as he asked, backed off, and left him alone. What he didn’t know was that Santana and Sue were coming up with a plan, an intervention if you will.

They were going to gather all of Mickey’s friends, and family which consisted of Kurt, Burt, Mike, Brittany, and Quinn. Their plan was to get Mickey in a room with all of them and try their best to get him to realize that his relationship was not full of love but hurt. Sue quickly realized that that would be a horrible idea as Mickey wasn’t speaking to half of them and seemed to hate all of their guts even though she knew deep down he still loved them. So their new plan: Get him back in Glee or at least involved in some way, The name was a work in progress.

Walking into an empty classroom, Mickey sighed seeing not only Brittany but the whole glee club minus Finn and Mr.Shue. ‘I should’ve known,’ he thought bitterly.

He had gotten a text from Brittany that said, *Meet me in room 109, it’s urgent* being so caught up in the urgent part of the message he forgot to notice the text didn’t have the special emojis she uses when texting him or end with *-Your Minnie*.

Giving everyone a once over, he nodded “I’m out” he turned to leave

“Wait,” Santana called out,”We need you”

Seeing how he froze at the door Brittany took over knowing she was the only reason he came,”Finn like totally left and now we don’t have enough people in the club to go to sectionals. We need you,Mickey Mouse, no one else can dance like you or get the choreography as fast.” She spoke sincerely, the nickname warming his broken heart,”And I really miss you” she added with a soft smile

With his back still turned to them as he leaned on the door frame, he spoke “So what after weeks of being ignored I’m just supposed to come back because you’re desperate,” he shrugged and turned to them glaring at all of them,”That’s not fair and I’m not coming back, sorry,” he spoke unapologetically noticing how everyone had sad looks on their face as if disappointed

“I told you he wouldn’t say yes,” Rachel rolled her eyes,”He never cared about this club anyw-”

“No!” Mickey yelled furiously causing her to flinch,”You don’t get to say that. Do you have any idea how any of you made me feel? What you meant to me before you all decided to ignore my misery while you comforted anybody else over dumb shit?” He questioned looking at everyone as they looked guilty,”I spent twenty days being ignored by who I thought were my friends, minus Rachel and for you to come and ask me last minute to come back because you’re desperate is just insane.” He let out a breath,”So no, you don’t get to sit here and treat me like I owe you, any of you. If anything you fucking owe me,” He paused

Looking at a specific group which contained his three close friends and brother,” Womb to Tomb,” he paused again shaking his head staring each of them in the eyes,”Wasn’t never a joke to me,” turing and walking away

“We messed up, big time” Puck sighed as the rest of the room filled with awkward silence before the bell rang.

Even though he didn’t join them, Mickey decided to come to sectionals just to see if they would fail or not.

"And now our final team Mckinley High's New Directions!" The lights dimmed and the music
for Don't Rain On My Parade started, indicating Rachel that the time had come. She stepped out of the curtain and began to sing.

The song choice was weird but Mickey somewhat enjoyed it bobbing his head to the music.

They waited for their queue and when the moment was right the rest of the New Directions made their way in two single files towards the stage and Rachel belted the final part
of the song. The group sang You Can't Always Get What You Want. The choreography
was rather simple, but it worked. It seemed to be enough though. The crowd roared in applause, whistling and cheering them when they finished.

All but one male who watched in sadness, wishing he would have joined them. It wasn’t that he forgave them or felt he overreacted; he just saw their happy faces and hoped that he could be happy like that one day without a care in the world.

"Well, we have a few things we'd like to show you, Mr. Schue. The first..." Finn smiled before gesturing to the glee club to move apart.

Will cheered as the parting students revealed their first place trophy. Artie wheeled to where their coach was standing so he could grab the trophy as the rest of the students clapped. "l am so proud of you guys. You won fair and square. The result was unanimous, and the judges didn't even know about all the shenanigans that were going on behind the scenes. So.. Congratulations. You earned this. Give it up! Come on! All right! But, now we have regionals to worry about. And you can bet that Vocal Adrenaline is hard at work, so we should be, too. So, let's get started,"

"Uh, wait, Mr. Shue. There's one more thing." Puck stepped forward, making Mr. Schuester stop dead in his tracks.

"Since you weren't able to be there to see us perform, we put together a special number just for you." Rachel informed him with a big smile as Finn pushed him down gently on a chair. "Take a seat!"

They performed My Life Would Suck Without You as soon as the song ended, Mr. Schuester stood up with a smile. "That was great, guys. I, uhm, need to do something before the
lesson begins." With that he bolted out of the room, chasing after something or someone.

"Does this mean the lesson is over?" Puck wondered, wishing they could go home.

"Probably." Rachel giggled but before anyone could leave they saw their ex-club member walk in with a small smile on his face,”What are you doing in here?” Rachel asked rudely hands on her hips

“Calm down, leprechaun” Sanatan spoke just as rudely,”Let him talk”

“I just wanted to say you guys did good,” he said, noticing their confusion,”I saw your sectional performance. It was good, congratulations” he chuckled lightly

“Does this mean you’re coming back?” Brittany asked hopefully, everyone's eyes lighting up with the same hope.

“Oh no, of course not,” He chuckled, putting his hands up shrugging,”I can’t, and I definitely haven't forgiven any of you. I just wanted to tell you that you’ve done good and you have my support. Welcome back, Finn" he finished and left leaving the Glee clubbers once again with an silence

"We gotta get him back, and I think I know just what to do" Finn announced with a bright smile
