It was a very hot Sunday afternoon. Mommy allowed us to run around in nappies and tees. We played hide and seek, and I kept winning. Chloe was also very good at hide and seek too, but not as good as me.
"I have an idea! Why don't we head to the park and play there little? What do you think?" Mommy suggested.
"Playground!" We cheered and went to grab our pants for outside.
"Oh, I don't think you need to wear your pants today," Mommy said out of the blue. "It is scorching outside. If it is okay with you, just wear your diapers and your t-shirts."
We hesitated for a second. This was an unexpected offer. We never left the house wearing only diapers. Both Chloe and I rocked a little, thinking about our answer.
"It is okay if you don't want to. I understand if you prefer wearing pants. Mommy is just worried that you would be too warm. Whatever makes you happy my babies." She explained.
"No, no pantzzzz!" Chloe declared.
"No for I!" I joined in.
Mommy hugged us and kissed us on our foreheads. We walked to the playground, or more like waddled there. We played with the slides for a very long time until Mommy checked Chloe's diapers.
"I think Chloe needs a change. Let's head back home."
We held hands and strolled home singing and laughing.
