Hi there guys! Yes, this is me being drunk on tragedy and sad endings despite thinking I would never ever want or write something like this.

As usual.

Though... Shahrazad is half-dead and not completely dead. We have hope left right? Yeah, hold on to that. I tell you to hold on to that. It will work.

This book is dedicated to a very silly but loving idea. I wrote this book keeping in mind Alexander and Hephaestion. The fact that history tells so many people didn't like Alexander liking and supporting Hephaestion and the fact that Hephaestion's death is so questionable. I don't want to get into details here, but their story has left a mark in my heart. It has impacted me. So I decided to try my hands at Son of Mah.

My main motive was to do something decent. I might not be able to properly depict the love between two men, and to be honest this book being a Romance genre (Fantasy Romance) it was a little different to write. I usually don't write something which is like, heavily romance. But I tried.

The character of Shahrazad is so quirky, to be honest. Some people might even hate him for what he is. But I really love him. He is so interesting. Gosh I wish I had his confidence. It was really nice creating such a ✨ beauty ✨

Now this book will be for now a novella. At the time of its completion, it is of the word count– 38,879 words. So close to 40k but I stopped at the right time! So you can say, I finally completed the SECOND novella of my life (Where Kings Can't Rule was the first one which I later converted to a novel).

I am really happy to have written this LGBTQ story. Like with LGBTQ main characters. I feel like I contributed something to the community. Even more than that, I am happy I finally did something as a tribute to Alexander and Hephaestion. I really adore that duo man.

Okay, so stay tuned for the bonus chapters. For now, goodbye!
