You and Newt like each other, well Newt was in love with you and you have a crush on him. The problem is Newt is about a year older than you and Thomas your brother had made a rule that you're not allowed to date until you're 16, and since you have a good relationship with your brother you decided to obey that rule. The other problem is that they don't know when your birthday is, they only know that you are only 15. This past week a note came up in the box saying that your birthday is later this week, but you want to surprise Newt so you decide not to tell him. This morning is your birthday, you plan on telling Newt later that night. Minho as your best friend knows today's your birthday, but doesn't know that you're waiting to tell Newt. Minho is just casually talking to Newt and says "You must be pretty happy huh," Newt confused responds "Uh, I guess I'm doing ok, why?" Minho replies "Well today is Y/N's birthday" Newt looking shocked says "Wait, so she's finally 16?!" "Yeah" Minho answers smirking. Newt goes to find you, he sees you talking to a random shank, and out of excitement he shouts "Y/N!" you turn around seeing Newt you smile and wave, he determinedly walks up to you grabs your face and kisses you passionately. After you look up at him smiling and say "So I guess Minho told you huh?" "Yeah, but why didn't you?" Newt asks, "I wanted it to be a surprise, I was going to tell you tonight at the campfire" you respond, "Really" he says happy but surprised you would make him wait that long, especially knowing that you had a crush on him and liked him as much as he was in love with you.
