Breath of Cherry Blossoms

The Cherry Blossom Breathing (櫻さくらの呼こ吸きゅう, Sakura no kokyū?) is a Breathing Style which is derived from the Flower Breathing.

The Breath of Cherry Blossoms' most fundamental maneuver is to cause the sight of one's Nichirin Blade to blur into a dozen or more afterimages by rapidly swaying one's Nichirin Blade like the pendulum of a grandfather clock and vibrating one's Nichirin Blade at an extreme frequency. By doing so, one can make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to determine the location and position of one's Nichirin Blade.

Notably, while one is utilizing that maneuver, it is possible for one to heighten the degree of one's bur by heightening both the speed of the Nichirin Blade's sway and the frequency of the Nichirin Blade's vibration. It should also be noted that, in order to maintain and perform that maneuver, the rhythm of the Nichirin Blade's sway has to be in sync with the rhythm of the Nichirin Blade's vibration and the speed of the Nichirin Blade's sway has to be equal to the frequency of the Nichirin Blade's vibration.

Techniques

First Form: Radiant Beauty of Cherry Blossoms (壱いちノ型かた 櫻おうの明めい美び, Ichi no kata: Ōno Meibi?) - Is a defensive maneuver where one will one will temporarily cause the sight of one's Nichirin Blade to blur into a dozen or more afterimages by rapidly swaying one's Nichirin Blade like the pendulum of a grandfather clock and vibrating one's Nichirin Blade at an extreme frequency. By doing so, one will make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to determine where one's guard is.

Second Form: Honorable Shadow of Cherry Blossoms (弐にノ型かた 桜おうの御み影かげ, Ni no kata: Ōno Mikage?) - A variation of the Honorable Shadow Plum maneuver of the Flower Breathing. It consists of using a cycle of rotational slashes to assault and or defend oneself from one's opponent, and it also consists of temporarily causing the sight of one's Nichirin Blade to blur into a dozen or more afterimages by rapidly swaying one's Nichirin Blade like the pendulum of a grandfather clock and vibrating one's Nichirin Blade at an extreme frequency. By doing so, one will make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to determine when one is shifting from assaulting to defending or from defending to assaulting.

Third form: Flash of Cherry Blossoms (参さんノ型かた 桜おうの閃せん光こう, San no kata: Ōno Senkō?) - Is an offensive maneuver where, as one is lunging at one's opponent and thrusting one's Nichirin Blade at one's opponent, one will temporarily cause the sight of one's Nichirin Blade to blur into a dozen or more afterimages by rapidly swaying one's Nichirin Blade like the pendulum of a grandfather clock and vibrating one's Nichirin Blade at an extreme frequency. By doing so, one will make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to determine where one intends to stab one's opponent.

Fourth form: Crimson Cherry Blossom (肆しノ型かた 紅べに桜ざくら, Shi no kata: Benizakura?) - A variation of the Crimson Hanagoromo maneuver of the Flower Breathing. It consists of assaulting one's opponent with a meandering sash, and it also consists of temporarily causing the sight of one's Nichirin Blade to blur into a dozen or more afterimages by rapidly swaying one's Nichirin Blade like the pendulum of a grandfather clock and vibrating one's Nichirin Blade at an extreme frequency. By doing so, one will make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to predict and react to one's meandering slash.

Fifth form: Cherry Blossoms of Futility (伍ごノ型かた 徒あだの桜さくら, Go no kata: Ada no Sakura?) - A variation of the Peonies of Futility maneuver of the Breath of Flower Breathing. It consists of consecutively, quickly, and seamlessly assaulting one's opponent with a minimum of 9 slashes. And it consists of temporarily causing the sight of one's Nichirin Blade to blur into a dozen or more afterimages by rapidly swaying one's Nichirin Blade like the pendulum of a grandfather clock and vibrating one's Nichirin Blade at an extreme frequency. By doing so, one will make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to predict and react to one's 9-hit combo of slashes.

Sixth Form: Whirling Cherry Blossom (陸ろくノ型かた 渦うず桜ざくら, Roku no kata: Uzuzakura?) - A variation of the Whirling Peach maneuver of the Flower Breathing. It consists of using a spin to dodge an attack and then using the spin's momentum to immediately and seamlessly transition from dodging into slashing at one's opponent. It also consists of temporarily causing the sight of one's Nichirin Blade to blur into a dozen or more afterimages by rapidly swaying one's Nichirin Blade like the pendulum of a grandfather clock and vibrating one's Nichirin Blade at an extreme frequency. By doing so, one will make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to predict and react to one's slash.

Eighth Form: Cherry Blossom-Shaped Fireworks (捌はちノ型かた 桜おう形けい花はな火び, Hachi no kata: Ōkei Hanabi?) - An offensive maneuver where, as one approaches one's opponent in a curve with a lunge and begins a curving and horizontal slash towards one's opponent, one will temporarily cause the sight of one's Nichirin Blade to blur into a dozen or more afterimages by rapidly swaying one's Nichirin Blade like the pendulum of a grandfather clock and vibrating one's Nichirin Blade at an extreme frequency. By doing so, one will make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to determine the elevation and trajectory of one's slash and thereby make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to determine where one intends to slash one's opponent.

Ninth Form: Super-Whirling Cherry Blossoms (玖くノ型かた 超ちょう渦うず桜ざくら, Ku no kata: Chō Uzuzakura?) - Is an advancement of the Whirling Peach maneuver of the Flower Breathing. It consists of using a spin to dodge an attack and then continuing the spin in order to continuously slash at one's opponent. It also consists of temporarily causing the sight of one's Nichirin Blade to blur into a dozen or more afterimages by rapidly swaying one's Nichirin Blade like the pendulum of a grandfather clock and vibrating both at an extreme frequency. By doing so, one will make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to predict and react to one's slashes!

Tenth Form: Cherry Blossom-like God (拾じゅうノ型かた 渦おう然ぜん神がみ, Jū no kata: Ōzengami?) - A supplementary maneuver where one will one will temporarily cause the sight of oneself to blur into a dozen or more afterimages by rapidly swaying one's body like the pendulum of a grandfather clock and vibrating one's bodt at an extreme frequency. By doing so, one will make it difficult or even impossible for one's opponent to predict and react to ALL of one's movements!

Final Form: Equinoctial Vermilion Eye (終ついノ型かた 彼ひ岸がん朱しゅ眼がん, Tsui no kata: Higan Shugan?) - Is just the Equinoctial Vermilion Eye maneuver from the Flower Breathing.
