Nothing could be done unless Baraxus -the young princess's dragon- awoke from his unconscious state.
Quickly, the trees from the earth below, raced up to greet them at an alarming pace.
The first snap of a branch was all anyone heard as the ground rushed up to meet them. Surprisingly, there was no pain from the initial hit. Everything vanished in that moment. Even the woods seemed peaceful, the thunderous explosion of wood and dirt were quickly forgotten. Yet, a single thought remained;
"Forgive me, for I have failed you all."
