Chapter 4: The Town

There's something about the moon and stars that makes me calm.

The wild night wind greeted me as I rubbed my arms and leaned on the safety rails.

I watched his white hair glisten in the moonlight. My body shivered because of that; it added more coldness to the surroundings, and even a little air made it more messy. He was staring intently at the moon and seemed to be deep in thought. I guess he didn't even notice that I was looking at him because he didn't move from staring there. He was simply wearing a gray sweater and gray pajamas, and even in such simple clothing, his sex appeal is still screaming. With his eyes and that type of stare, he appears strange. He gazed at you intently, as if he knew who you were just by looking at you. As though you are transparent in his sight. You're easy to read, and it's simple to figure out what's on your mind. However, if you gaze at him, you will have difficulty distinguishing his personality. It's too enigmatic, cryptic, and impossible to decipher, as if it were a book written in a different style, a book written in a foreign language that you'll never comprehend. He's the sort of person whose personality contains numerous buried secrets.

I badly want to look down, but there is something in his eyes that won't let me. It's as if they're drowning me and drawing me away. I'm unable to flee. I'm sinking a little too far. We gazed at each other for a few moments before he abruptly turned around and went inside. I let out a sigh of relief after what had transpired; I nearly felt like I couldn't breathe, which was why I was panting after he had left where he had been before.

I search for my blanket to cover my body while my eyes are still shut due to the drowsiness I am feeling.

"Why so cold?" I groaned. I even felt the edge of my bed move like someone was seated on it, but I didn't bother to look. I just hugged the blanket on my body as I fell asleep again.
