The next morning was quite ordinary. Since I am 18 I still have to go to high school, but a normal high school no this high school was built by all the pack alpha's including my father. A full werewolf high school education system in case one of the wolves lost their temper which was very likely to happen and we can't have humans be witness to that. Anyway I attend Weregrove private school. Private to humans that is. I drag my legs up sitting on the edge of my bed rubbing the sleep out of my eyes and preparing to take my first steps of the day. I finally convinced my weak legs it was time to get ready and walked into my bathroom. My reflection was laughable my long chestnut hair looks like it had been teased and pulled in different directions, my tan skin is tear stained and I think there is some dried drool on my cheek. I first start this project by brushing my teeth. Talk about doggy breath (pun intended). I soon finish brushing my teeth that are now a sparkling white and smell wonderfully minty. My next step is trying to brush out this thing I call my hair. I start giggling because I hear my mother's voice in my head recalling a memory "you've always had such beautiful hair". HA! I start to pull a brush through my hair saying "ow!" Every time I came across a knot which was more often then you would think. When my hair was finally back to it's normal wavy texture I plug my straightener in the outlet and wait for it heat up to burn my hair. I put my hair in sections then pull my straightener through my hair making sure it is throughly straight. Once my hair is done I pull out my makeup kit and look at all the expensive makeup that I hardly ever wear. Just a little black eyeliner and some
black mascara. Just to give my emerald eyes a little something. I leave my bathroom and start to make my way to my closet choosing a white lace shirt, dark wash jeans, tan tasseled ankle boots, and a turquoise stone necklace just to add an accessory I made my way down stairs and grabbed a honey crisp apple for breakfast, my cell phone, and my keys to my black jeep sport. Not worrying about a jacket Because werewolves run hot I leave the house and begin the 25 minute car ride to school. On my way to school everyday I pick up my best friend Whitney. Whitney and I have been best friends since we were 4 years old. Whitney's father is my fathers beta so during pack meeting or just any event or regular day Whitney had come over and we would spend hours together. You see the moon goddess had seemed it was fit to put Whitney in my life and I have thanked her everyday for it. Whitney's house is 5 minutes from the school so I have about 20 minutes to myself just to think. I place one of my favorite CD's Whitney burned for me in my car system I and started to sing along to thinking about you by Frank Ocean. "A tornado flew around my room before you came-" OH MY GODDESS!!!! before I could process what happened a huge dark chocolate wolf ran across the road and when I say huge I mean humungous. I slam on the breaks and hear my tires slide across the wet pavement till I came to a complete stop. I feel Lena start howling and barking with joy and it takes all my strength not to shift into her right now. I unbuckle my seat belt and jump out of my jeep and approach the wolf. Lena is practically clawing at the surface when a huge gust of wind picks up and I bring my nose to the sky and smell the most captivating scent I have smelt in my whole life. The wolf smelled like a mahogany wood and wet earth. I felt my eyes change to my wolfs when the word left my mouth.

"Mate."
