You panted in the hot sun, You haven't drank water in days and you're extremely parched. "Ugh these pesky flies" You complained as you swatted them away. "Wait- what's that..", You picked up the scent of a zebra, "oh my I'm so hungry! I hope I'm not dreaming.." you chirped.
You started to run towards the scent, but then quickly haltered to a stop, "oh" you groaned "it's a herd" "well I should scrap that idea- I could never take a herd on my own."
the sun only intensified as midday arrived. You found a shady acacia tree, and decided to take a nap underneath it.
You were awoken by the crunching of grass- as if someone was trotting along somewhere near you, you woke up, in high alert, you turned to see a handsome male lion about 50 feet away from you he was talking to another lion- a lioness. Their speech was inaudible but you kept yourself crouching down trying to listen. But then, the male lion and you made eye contact, you quickly looked away and tried to hide behind a bush and wait for them to leave so you could run off, however their conversation seemed to last ages. "When are these flea brains going to leave!" You thought aloud quietly. Approximately 10 minutes had passed when they finally disengaged in their conversation and parted ways the female lion shouted "cmon where are you going?" To which the male responded with "oh, I'll be there in a second" the male lion trotted over to you.
"Who are you and why are you here?" He asked tensely "I'm y/n I didn't know that this was a prides territory, I'm terribly sorry." You said trying your best to be polite. "Very well then." He said " are you a rouge?" "Yes" you said a bit ashamed to be one, only half a moon ago you were still with your old pride. "Well you should get going" he said, "Um" you said, you were in a dilemma; should you ask to join the pride and have a better chance at survival, or simply be grateful you didn't get attacked for being the prides territory and leave?
