The kingdom's balance began to falter, threatened by hidden forces lurking in the shadows, eager to seize control. Kion must remember in order to awaken a great hidden power - the only thing capable of defeating the forces of evil.

The pridelands and tree of life have been at war for years. But when the tree of life's powers mysteriously stop working two lions from completely different backgrounds start having visions of eachother and the future. Meanwhile a mysterious pulse builds beneath both kingdoms, threatening to tear everything down.

Kion, Rani, and the others are now captured by Kiros and seperated in prison. Svetona and Sahashi work together to break them out.

After Kion gives up the Roar and his duties as the Fiercest of the Lion Guard, he asks his teammates to accompany him to the Tree of Life so he can be with Queen Rani. However, Fuli sees this a betrayal and believes it undermines everything they have worked for. After years apart, the Pridelands are on edge as a neighbouring Cheetah Coalition threatens a war with King Simba. Kion is forced to return to his homeland and sacrifice his happiness for the sake of peace. The one thing that can prevent a war is a betrothal between the Prideland Prince and the Cheetah Coalition Heiress. "Everything I do is for the Kingdom".
