Time jump to two years later when the twins are three.

Getting Misha tested for Autism since he's not talking.

Kason is talking but his brother isn't.

Kason does ask questions.

"Why doesn't Misha talk ."Said Kason.

"Maybe he doesn't want to. "Said Deshawn.

"Okay. "Said Kason.

Getting both boys tested was important.

Boys usually get tested faster than girls even both all genders can have it not just boys.

The only issue they have to deal with the fact that their sons are both Black and Asian.

Black kids usually don't get the right stuff because racist- if you're lucky to get the right rest then you better be glad(I'm half black so I was lucky.)

Asian kids are seen as too smart to have Autism because of racism and ableism.

"What are their names."

"Misga and Kason." Said Kian.

"What are they in for. "

"A Autism screening and testing ."Said Deshawn.

"Aren't you sure it's something else. "

"Misha isn't talking, Kason is but Misha isn't. "Said Kian.

"Maybe he's just a stubborn child. "

"No he's just not talking. "Said Deshawn.

"Maybe it's something else. "

"One of our friends has Autism and he mentioned how he didn't start talking until he was four but his parents didn't know that much about Autism so he ended up getting tested as a adult. "Said Kian.

"Also racism can be a problem when getting someone tested we did our research. "Said Deshawn.

Saying that made the tester look at them like "Oh they know what I'm doing."

"We just want to know so we can help them and make sure they have everything they need. "Said Kian.

The tester didn't help them so they went to another one- the tester was black, this person knew about the racism stuff that happens when getting a kid who isn't white tested and well Misha has Autism and Kason doesn't.

When people found this out who weren't family or like family- they would talk to Misha like he was baby not a toddler.

Misha wanted to scream but couldn't so he made noises and that didn't make it stop.

What did happen was his parents saying "he doesn't like that nor do we, don't talk to our kid like you would a newborn baby he's not a newborn."

All the crap was horrible sadly his parents were use to dealing with hate.

All the hateful crap they had to deal with all of the roommates were sick of this.

The homophobic was hurtful.

The transphobic Vance deals with is dehumanizing.

And the anti-Semitism that Julie dealt with once someone in this area found out he was Jewish made him upset it's other that or people not believing he's Jewish.

And the racism was just the ugly cherry on top on this hate crime sundae.

But why don't these roommates leave well why should they- they have every right to be live here just like their cis straight Christian white neighbors do.

They did look at lgbtqia friendly areas but couldn't find any that were one close to the school they attended at the time and two have the space that they wanted and needed.

Also this area claimed to be friendly and safe.

If they could move the house to a safer area with no money issues they would in a heartbreak

But this area is close to the school that Tori and Gabby goes to and having to transfer schools is a nightmare in the making.
