Tushika's Haldi Look
It was the wedding day of Tushika and Shreyas. Shreyas didn't wait even for a month as he was scared that his parents might change their decision again. Moreover, right after his wedding, it was Devangini's turn. Devangini had become quiet all of a sudden. She participated in every rituals with a fake smile.
The Sangeet and Mehendi's functions were held at the respective places of the couple as it was the rule of Shreyas's family that the bride and groom won't meet or see each other during any rituals before the actual wedding day.
"Finally yaad aaya tujhe ki meri shaadi ho rahi hain!"Tushika said to Rishabh, who gave her a hug and said,"tabiyat thik nahi thi yaar isiliye nahi aaya engagement party aur Sangeet and all mein."
"Engagement party ka samajh aata hain ki kiyu nahi aaya. Shreyas aur uski family aaye theh. Par Mehendi aur Sangeet mein bhi nahi aaya tu. Tuney waada kiya tha ki meri shaadi mein nachega. Waada todh diya aise?"
"Sorry Gulabo. Par insaan tabhi naach paata hain jab voh khush ho. Teri shaadi ki khushi toh hain mujhe, par kambakht dil tutne ka dard saha nahi jaa raha hain. Phirbi aaj socha ki aajaata hoon. Tere liye ek gift laaya hoon. Dekh..."Rishabh said while showing her the necklace he brought for her.

"Pasand aaya?"he asked and she replied,"bohot sundar hain. Main yeh set zaroor pehenungi, aur samhaal ke bhi rakhungi."
Devangini walked into the premises of Rohit's house, to give the bowl of haldi which had been applied to Shreyas. It was the first time after so many days that she was allowed to come out of the house. "Yaad rakhna, zyaada baatein nahi. Haldi pauchake, apne honewali bhabi ko haldi laga ke laut aana,"her paternal aunt had warned her before she came out of the house.
"Shera! Devi aayi hain,"Tushika said and Rishabh's demeanor became stiff as he stared at her from the place they were sitting.
