We got home. I greeted my family, went up to my room, took off my clothes, and lay on my bed. I took out my phone and a text message appeared.

Sue-Ann got butterflies and bit her lip trying to hold back a big smile.

They both smile. Ezekiel and Sue-Ann talked for two hours until they said their goodnights. Sue-Ann's Mother called her down for dinner
"so how did school go, did you find the principal?" her mother asks
"Yeah, and school was great ." she smiles as she takes a bite out of her Jamaican dish
The whole dinner Sue-Ann and Jacob talked about their experiences. Dinner was finished and Sue-Ann told everyone goodnight and went up into her room. She lay in her bed and scrolled through the text messages between her and Ezekiel, she smiled through all of them. She told her best friends, who are not in the country with her, that she got a boy's number. There wasn't any answer so she fell asleep.
The next morning
Sue-Ann woke up to 4 messages from the group chat.
