Long Lost Best Friend

Ella's POV

When Soph and I were in elementary school, we had a best friend named Anna Grace. We were the three amigos. We were irrsepable. In 7th grade, Anna Grace moved to Arkansas. We were all devastated, but we would go visit her, and she would visit us. But once we got into high school, we lost touch with her.

In July, she moved back. Soph and I were both estatic, but every time I asked them to hangout, they had other plans. They would either go to the movies or hangout at eachothers house. And when I asked to hangout with them, they'd make an excuse.

I know that I've gotten famous and I'm dating someone famous, but I thought that would make them want to hangout with me more. I am busy a lot, but when I'm not, if like to hangout with my so call best friends, but they think other wise. I hadn't seen Anna Grace since she moved here, and I was getting very upset, because I felt like she didn't want to be my friend anymore.

I walked down to my moms room and knocked on her door. She was just laying on the bed when she yelled "come in!"

"Uh hey mom can we talk?" I said hopping on her bed

"Sure sweetie, what's up?" She said sounding semi concerned

"Well you know how Anna Grace just moved back, well her and Soph have been together non-stop. And every time I ask them to hangout, they say they have other plans, like the movies or the mall or something. And when I ask if I can be apart of it, they make some lame excuse" I say starting to cry

"Oh baby, it's okay" she says hugging me

It wasn't okay, I was losing my best friends. How is that okay?

"Have you talked to them about it?" She says pulling out her phone

"Not really." I say crying even more

"Well you should. They need to know how you feel. Or would you like me to tell Aunt Cass (Soph's mom) and Mrs. Jane (Anna's mom)?" She says starting to call Cass

"No! I don't want them to know that I told you because then they'll think I'm a baby." I say starting a group chat with them

"Fine. Just text them please" She says looking very concerned

To Soph and Anna:

Me: hey guys, we need to talk. Um I really don't like that you guys make plans without me and when I try to hangout with you two, you make an excuse as to why you can't. I feel as if you guys don't want to be my friend anymore

Soph soon answered back

Soph: everytime we've asked you to hangout you're either at the studio or hanging out with Shawn, so that's not our fault.

Anna: yeah she's right. I've been asking you to hangout since I got here.

Me: since Anna has been here, none of you have asked me to hangout. There were days that I asked for you guys to hangout and I sat at my house because you guys said no.

Soph: well before she got here, we planned our summer out together, so you should have done the same. I can't help that you didn't.

My mom was sitting right there and when she said that, my mom dialed Cass's number, but I would let her.

Me: but I didn't know y'all were doing that! So it's not fair.

Soph: well if you don't think it's fair, then I guess you can move on, and not be friends with us

Anna replied back immediately

Anna: yeah go find some famous people to be your new best friends

And that was my breaking point. I just bawled

It was my moms too. She immediately dialed Aunt Cass

Mary's POV

*Phone Conversation*

Cass: hey girl, what's up? I haven't seen you guys in a while!

Me: well you wanna know why? Because your daughter doesn't want to be friends with El anymore.

Cass: what? Soph would never do that!

Me: well I have proof of you don't believe me

I sent her the screenshots of the messages that El sent me

Cass: *gasp* let me call you back

Soph's POV

I was just about to text Anna to see if she wants to hangout when my mom came in screaming.

"Soph what the heck is this?!" She said holding up some messages on her phone.

I knew exactly what it was

"Oh uh um" I said. I was speechless

"Give me your phone and you can get it back when you explain yourself and fix this

Mary's POV

I called Jane because this situation was not okay. I still haven't heard from Cass but I knew she was handling it, because I knew she didn't put up with that stuff.

I proceeded to send Jane the pictures and then called her. I guess she had read them because she was furious.

*Phone Conversation*

Mary: hey I'm gonna call you back so I can handle this.

And with that she hung up

Anna's POV

My mom came storming in my room and I knew what she was mad about.

"Anna how could you do this??" She said pointing to messages on her phone

"Mom I don't know. I guess Arkansas changed me" I said sounding stupid because it was stupid, but I didn't know what to say

"Well when California changes you back, you can get your phone back!" She says taking my phone
