Ella's POV

Soph and I didn't end up going to bed until 4 in the morning. So we didn't wake up until 3:15 when my mom came in.

I realized I was late to the meeting with Christina. So I ran to Liz's room and told her to be ready in 5 to take me to the studio. I ran back to my room and saw that Christina was calling me

*phone conversation*

Christina: girl where are you?

Me: I'm running a bit late, I'll explain why when I get there.

Christina: well hurry because I got a special guest!!

Me: be there in 10

I went to my closet and gabbed my monogram t-shirt and some shorts and grabbed my vans and went down stairs to see Liz waiting on me.

"Geez El, how long you gonna take?" she said heading out the door

When I walked into Christina's room, I could not believe my eyes. Was it really Shawn?? Shawn Mendes? I was literally freaking out. He walked over to me, seeing that I was freaking out, and gave me a hug. I was starting to cry. Was this really real?

"Hey I'm Shawn, obviously" he said smiling.

I love everything about him

"I'm Ella, Ella Mackenzie, I'm a huge fan. You're so amazing" I say barely able to speak

"I guess you're wondering why I'm here?" He said letting go of our hug, sadly

"Yes I am. Why would you want to meet me, a small California girl?"

"Well as you probably know, I love The Voice and I was watching it when you came out singing my song. I started flipping out and I told my manager that I needed to meet you because no one has ever sang any of my songs on a TV show." He said smiling at me

"But I don't understand why you would want to meet me. I'm nothing compared to you" I say looking at the ground

"I don't know why you would say that. You're an amazing singer and you deserve to be heard." He says putting my head up

"Okay guys enough with that, let's get started on what we're really here for"

After we were done, Shawn and I exchanged numbers and he offered to take me home. How could I say no?

He drove me home and walked me to my door

"I really want to see you again Ella" he said going in for a hug

"Me too! Just let me know when you're available." I said opening the door

"Good night gorgeous!" He said kissing my cheek

"Good night" I say closing the door and heading to my room
