Jungkook put down the phone and the talisman paper in his hand. He looked at Lisa and said, "I'm fine now." He took Lisa's hand and put her in his arms. "I already have the talisman paper that you asked Master Ran for. You don't have to worry about it!"

Lisa sighed and looked at Jungkook's face with a worried expression. "I'm not!" What she meant was that she was still worried about Jungkook. "I really want to keep you by my side and not separate from you!"

Jungkook kissed her face. "That's fine too. Tomorrow night, the Ding family has a party that they need to attend. Come with me." Jungkook lowered his head and rubbed the tip of her nose. "It's been hard on you for the past two days! I'll take you out to have some fun!"

Lisa was happy now. "Okay!"

Seojoon had no way of knowing Jungkook's schedule, so he kept an eye on his assistant at the company for a day. When he returned home, he said to Chaerin, "It looks like he's really sick. He hasn't come to the company for two days in a row!"

Chaerin was happy. "Last time, Jungkook put the company's matters aside because something happened to the company! The shareholders all had some opinions. This time, he took two days off for no reason! Do you think that those old guys would let go of such a good opportunity to catch him?"

His voice was not completely suppressed, and the people beside him heard it. Also, Jungkook, who had just pushed the door open, came in!

Jungkook glanced at Assistant Kim above and slowly walked over. He stood two steps away from Seojoon and said, "Repeat what you just said."

His tone was very calm, but in Seojoon's ears, it was filled with anger. Seojoon forced a smile and said, "What? It's just your assistant. Can't I say anything?"

"You also said that he's my assistant! If there are any mistakes in his work, I should be the one to criticize him!" Jungkook looked at him. Seojoon smiled lightly. "Don't you know what you are here for? Lower your tail and get the money. That's what you should be doing!"

Seojoon was about to be angered to death by Jungkook. How could he have thought that Jungkook would humiliate him in front of so many higher-ups for an assistant!?
