felix nervously laid his upper body onto the table, his cheeks resting onto his right arm as he looked at his friends bustle around their area.
everyone was in the lecture hall, and everyone was buzzing with nervousness. today was the day they would be getting their quiz results back.
it wasn't a major grade that contributed to their GPA, but it was an indicator to see if they understood what was being taught in class, and whether they needed to work harder or not. with it being the final year of uni, the students bore even more pressure of doing well.
"honestly, i know i'll fail. i didn't study like crazy," jisung said.
"bro, you don't even study," seungmin countered, causing a glare to be thrown in his direction.
"i didn't ask!"
"you were setting yourself up for this by saying than anyway."
"fuck you!"
"no thanks."
"you're gonna get super high again," felix interjected, his sentence directed at seungmin. "i hope so. i aim to be valedictorian after all," seungmin said, crossing his fingers.
"i will beat seungmin one day," jisung claimed, nodding his head. "in your dreams," jeongin said, making an L shape with his fingers.
jisung flipped the youngest off. "i think felix will get a high score too; he actually studied with seungmin."
and it was true. felix studied with seungmin, which was not something new since the group studied together. but felix really tried his best; he wouldn't usually stay up so late to study but this year, he aimed to do well, and what better way to do that but to study with his course's top student.
"yea i think so too, felix studied hard," seungmin agreed. the professor then entered the lecture hall, a stack of papers hugged to his chest. felix groaned as he lifted himself off the table.
"only one way to find out."
