felix sprawled onto the floor, feeling his sweat cause his shirt to start sticking onto his skin. his chest dipped up and down as he panted, trying to catch his breath.

it had been 2 days since he last talked to hyunjin, but felix was not aware of this. he was so swamped with schoolwork and now, a choreography to memorise.

the school was having a school event, and the dance club was performing, meaning minho wanted perfect performances on that day.

but with the piling schoolwork, felix missed out on dance club practice in the afternoon after his classes, and now, he had to catch up. minho had sent a video of the choreography in the club's groupchat and felix was now trying to memorise it.

but he had messed up the same move for 5 times now, and felix was getting frusturated.

he had been in the studio since 6pm, because the time his professors released him from consultation was 5:45pm, meaning he missed the usual timing of the dance club session. jeongin and jisung had attended the dance club session, and so, felix was left alone to practice the choreography himself.

minho had given him the keys, telling him to switch off the lights and to lock up when he was going to leave.

felix sighed, rolling over onto his stomach as he grabbed his phone, and his eyes nearly popped out of its sockets when they landed on the time.

"12:57am?" felix asked incredulously.

he needed to wake up at 6am later on, and if he continued, he wouldn't be able to sleep at this rate.

felix groaned as he picked his body off the floor, sighing as he sat up. he was so exhausted.

"what the fuck," he mumbled under his breath as stood up, his legs trembling.

his whole body was aching, and he winced as he walked over to his bag. felix took the bottle of water he had bought out and took a sip, savouring the liquid's ability to refresh and quench his thirst.

felix peeled his shirt off and took the extra he had packed and swung it over his head, putting it on. stuffing his used shirt and bottle back into the bag, felix zipped his bag up and swung it over his shoulder, ready to leave the studio.

he'd have to practice the move he couldn't master later on. he tried the move again, but he felt like he wasn't doing it right.

felix frowned as he walked over to the swtiches, turning the air conditioner off and then the lights before twisting the knob of the dance studio door open and exiting the studio.

he took the keys out from his bag's pocket and locked the studio, turning and twisting the knob to check if it was really locked or not.

yawning, felix kept the keys back in his bag's pocket before walking away.

the dance studio was located in the main block, where all the sports facilities and studios were located. felix walked past the music studio, and slowed in front of the recording studio.

the musicians' club was the one who use the recording studio the most, and felix always saw chan and changbin in there when he went for his daily dance club sessions, their heads down and huddled together, piecing together new music.

felix then remembered jisung— his best friend liked writing songs, but he was too shy to actually speak up about it.

jisung wanted to join the musicians' club; he just joined the dance club because he wanted to admire minho within a near proximity.

felix chuckled at the thought. jisung was so funny ridicolously funny sometimes.

and at that, felix tried the move that had been bugging him before walking away.
