He let out a heaved sigh as we grew silent.
"I can already see the building. I'll find a spot where you can completely hide while I call her and tell her that I'm here to help."
Hindi nagtagal ay nakarating na nga kami sa abandoned warehouse. David led me to the back door where I can enter and hide while he distracts Reese and his men.
"You know how to shoot?"
I nodded shakily, "I-I've tried it in a shooting range."
"How many points did you get?"
"Forty eight."
"That's good enough, have you shot a person before?"
"Are you fucking kidding me—"
"With that rage, I bet you can do it perfectly."
"I can handle it, David. J-just please.. distract them while I look for Khio."
In the end he just nodded at me before giving me a hug which I didn't reciprocate. He told me that he'll call Reese once he got back to the car and gave me a burner phone which I'll be using to call the police later and so he can still contact me.
My breath became shaky as I held on to the gun.
Am I scared? definitely. But I'm more scared of losing Khio than being in this dangerous situation.
I was getting impatient since I have been here for a couple of minutes already, pero agad din iyon nagbago when I heard footsteps followed by a conversation from two men.

I felt sick in my stomach when I heard him say that.. he's not possibly talking about Khio, right?
Thinking about that made me want to put these bullets in their head, but I have to be careful. Where the fuck are you David?!
My grip on the gun tightened as I continued to eavesdrop on them.

They kept on talking to each other with some shit I didn't even care, until I heard heels walking down the stairs and just by her voice and the way she spoke Spanish, I already knew who it was.
