Bad Dreams, Part Two

Start from the beginning

That's when Matt felt Andy come up to his legs, and then jumped up onto him, which reminded him, he needs to go outside. "Yeah, you want to go outside; don't you Andy?" Barking, Andy agreed and then got down; after which, Matt made his way over to the door so that he could let his service dog out. "Can we follow the same routine, and keep going with the same agreement as we had yesterday?" Looking up at her yerno, Camila agreed; after all, she can most definitely put Andy outside if he needs to go to the washroom quiet easily. "Of course. Just know that I'm not picking that stuff up." Matt smirked. "I pay for a garden company to come water the flowers and clean up the backyard every day." Camila was shocked as she heard Matt say that. "Seriously?" Matt nodded, smiling as he made his way back over to the kitchen; after which, he remembered that he wanted some coffee. But first, he asked Camila whether she wanted some as well. "Care for some coffee Camila?" Camila agreed with Matt. "Yes please."

Making his way over to the boys with Camila's coffee this morning, Matt smiled as he went ahead and set it down next to her; at the same time, he smiled as he kissed the top of her head. After all, he is very grateful for everything that she's done for him and Gabby since they learned the tragic news. "I hope you know that me and Gabby are forever grateful for everything that you're doing for us, letting us grieve for Jackson." Turning her head, Camila was a bit confused when she heard the name "Jackson". "Who's that?" Matt then realized that Camila doesn't know, doesn't know that they gave their late (unborn) son a name. "Oh, I forgot to tell you; we gave the baby boy a name, rather than just referring to him as the baby we lost." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, as that's probably something quite wise for them to do. "I think that makes sense." Matt agreed with Camila as she said that, smiling as he walked back over to the stove so that he can flip the eggs that he was already making; after which, he went to grab the toast (as it was ready).

"So, you named the baby Jackson?" Matt agreed with Camila, turning his head (while also picking up the mayo so that he can take the lid off). "Yes, his name is Jackson David." Camila smiled as she heard the name, clearly liking the sound of it. "I love that name." Matt agreed with Camila. "We might actually use the name for our charity that I think me, and Gabby are going to create someday, because we both know that we need to use some of this money for good." Camila smiled. "You've already done that for me. By the way, thank you so much for paying off the mortgages on me and Antonio's homes; as well as paying off Gabby's college debts." Matt agreed with Camila as she thanked him, not that it was really a problem. "It wasn't a problem Camila, I wanted to do that for you guys; because that's what family does for each other, they help out and they make sure that their debts are paid off." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, just smiling as she still felt incredibly lucky to have him as he son-in-law. "I swear, I am not worthy of having you as my son-in-law." Matt laughed. "I'd rather you stop saying that, because that means that I don't get to have Matteo and Noah."

Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, well aware that's the case. "Right, of course." Matt just smiled as he heard Camila say that, glad that they were on the same page now; that she would no longer say that she's lucky to have him as her son-in-law, because he's the real lucky one. He loves Gabby more than anything, and he makes her happy. "Plus, Gabby is my second chance at love; she makes me incredibly happy, and I am just so that that this is the life that me and Gabby have with each other. There's nobody I would rather be married to, nor would I want to have children with anybody other than Gabby; and I mean that from the bottom of my heart." Camila smiled, agreeing with Matt as he said that; especially since she could see that it was the truth from the way that he was looking at her at the moment. "I believe you Matt, and you have no reason to doubt that I know that." Matt agreed with Camila as she said that, glad that was the case; after which, he turned his attention back to the breakfast he was making this morning.

With breakfast now ready to take upstairs, Matt couldn't help but smile as he turned to look at Camila and the boys; as the sight of his little boys sitting there is just so adorable, but he also knew that he couldn't take too long. Not when he has somebody else to go take care of right now, his beautiful wife Gabriela Casey; who's currently hurting after their partial miscarriage, which still breaks his heart right now. He just knows that Gabby's hurting right now, and he hates being away from her for this long; or just having her out of his sight whatsoever, because he doesn't know what she's doing right now. But he's not going to have to wait to see if she's okay for much longer, as Matt is on his way upstairs now. He's done making breakfast, and ready to head upstairs; but first, he just needs to talk to Camila. "Camila?" Turning her head to face him, Camila smiled. "Yes Matthew?" Matt smiled. "You're sure that you're okay with watching the boys, right?" Getting up after finishing up with feeding the boys, Camila agreed. "Hey, of course I am."

Matt smiled as he heard Camila say that, glad that was the case; but still, he couldn't help but feel bad that he and Gabby weren't currently with the boys....after all, they are their parents; doesn't that mean that they should be with them, and taking care of them? Well, might as well ask Camila. "We're doing the right thing, right?" Looking at her son-in-law as he asked her whether he and Gabby were doing the right thing (in taking some time ale to grieve), Camila couldn't help but agree, which was something that she was going to make sure that Matt knew, and she was going to make that crystal clear to him as she grabbed his hand. "Hey, I never want you to doubt that you and Gabriela are doing the right thing when it comes to the both of you guys taking some time together....that's what you both need right now, you need time together; and you both need to relax, as you hold each other close and grieve." Matt agreed with Camila as she said that, taking a breath. "Gabby was pretty shaken up this morning, and she's very emotional."

Taking a breath as she heard Matt say that, Camila Vergel Dawson couldn't help but feel her heart break for her daughter; a sentiment that Matt could clearly see that his mother-in-law was feeling right now, based solely on the face that she was making right now. "I promise, I'm taking care of her...and we're going to get through this together." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, having never doubted that. "I know Matt, and I promise that I trust you explicitly." Matt agreed with Camila as she said that, before getting close to her; hugging her, Matt just smiled as he truly has an amazing mother-in-law. "Listen, can you do me a favor?" Camila agreed. "Always." Matt smiled. "Can you call my mom today? I know you have things under control, but I'd like my mother to come spend time with her grandsons." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, completely understanding where he's coming from. "Of course, Matt, I promise that I'll call her and invite her over; maybe we can all have supper later?" Matt bit his lip as Camila asked him that question.

"I can't make any promises Camila." Thinking about it, Camila understood. "Right, of course." Matt just smiled as he heard her say that, before going to hug her. "Listen, I have a hungry, pregnant wife upstairs that I nee to go feed; but please, call my mom if you need any help. Or, you can call me too. I'm here for everybody." Camila smiled as she put her hand on his cheek, before stroking it with her thumb. "You are too good for my daughter." Matt laughed as he heard Camila say that. "Don't let Gabby hear you say that." Camila agreed with Matt as he said that, before watching as he walked away to grab the plate of food; he then went to walk away, while also passing in front of the boys at the same time. Kissing their cheeks, Matt smile. "Have a good day with your grandmothers boys." Smiling as she watched Matt did that, Camila couldn't help but be happy that she has him in her life; as her son-in-law, and the father of her grandchildren of course. Matt then proceeded to walk away to head back up to bed, and relax with Gabby today.
