Thank you for being the best mom in the entire world.

Love.
Kiara and Kai.

"Wow." I huffed with tears brimming in my eyes. "Thank you."

"Do you like it ?" Kiara asked.

"Are you kidding me? I love it." I chuckled. "You even decorated it with little rabbits."

"They're flowers."

"Yeah flowers, I knew that." I huffed. "They're cute little flowers."

"Thank you." I pecked the both of them. "You don't know how better this just made me feel."

The three of us ate the burgers and fries while they kept going on about their day. I completely felt a 100% better than I did this morning. All my worries long forgotten. I can't change the past, what's happened has already happened and there's nothing I can do about it. Max betrayed me, so what? Max is dead? So what? The important thing to do is to focus on the future. My future with Kenny and our kids. I have a beautiful family, a man who loves and adores me, kids who love and care for me... My life couldn't be more perfect.

"Okay, just between us." I folded my arms. "Who wrote the letter ?"

"Me." Kiara narrowed her eyes at me.

"Your dad didn't put you up to this ?"

"No mom. I wrote the letter myself!"

No grammatical errors, no wrong spellings... It's really hard to believe.

"Okay Kiara." I took the letter in my hand. "Spell the word feeling."

Her face lit up, she really loved spelling.
"F E E L I N G. "

"World."

"W O R L D." She spelled. "World."

"She really did write the letter." I muttered to myself.

"Tell Kai to spell." She suggested causing Kai to give her a glare.

"We get it. You're a smarty pants." He rolled his eyes. "Now shut up."

She gasped. "Mom Kai told me to shut up!"

"Kai don't tell your sister to shut up!" I reprimanded, or atleast tried to.

"I'm Kiki and I'm smarter than everyone." He mimicked.

"I'm Kai and I'm dumber than everyone." She fired back.

Kenny got inside the room, finding the both of them fighting.

He raised his eyebrows at me and I shrugged.

"Aren't you gonna interfere ?"

"And have them turn against me ?" I raised my eyebrows. "No thanks."

"Don't, and I mean do not interfere when they're fighting." I warned and Kenny looked at me like I was crazy.

"Okay." I shrugged. "Go ahead."

Kenny calmed the both of them and managed to get them to stop shouting at each other.

"You guys may be twins, but that doesn't mean you're gifted the same way." He looked at Kiara. "Kai might be less achieving when it comes to academics compared to you but-"

"Are you saying my brother is dumb ?!" Kiara raised her eyebrows.

"What ?" Kenny narrowed his eyes in confusion. "I didn't say that."

"Then what are you saying ?" Kai crossed his arms. "You're saying my sister's a smarty pants ?!"

"Wha- no." Kenny looked him. "I'm pretty sure you called her that."

"Then what exactly are you saying ?" Kiara asked. They both looked at him like he had committed the most hideous crime.

I warned him.

"Yeah dad, what exactly are you saying ?" I chirped in, enjoying this too much. Kenny was confused as to why he was ganged up against when all he did was try to resolve a conflict. Again, I warned him.

"I was just trying to-"

"Come on Kai, we'll go watch a movie." Kiara held his hand as they got off the bed. "Dad, if you ever say another word against my brother then we won't ever talk to you again."

"Same applies to my sister." Kai added and they walked out the door holding hands.

I laughed as I saw Kenny's mouth hung wide open while he looked at the door. "You never learn do you ?"

"What. the hell. just happened ?" He chuckled.

"Babe when I tell you not to do something..." I got off the bed. "It's not because I think I know better, it's because I do know better."

"When I say Kenny don't give Kiara ice cream after 6pm, don't. When I say Kenny don't let Kai choose his own clothes, don't." I remarked. "And finally, when I say Kenny don't interfere when the twins are fighting, don't."

"Lesson learnt." He nodded and I laughed, wrapping my hands around his waist. "They just turned the whole thing against me and made me the bad guy."

"Now the both of them are getting along pretty well and the whole thing just backfired against you." I chuckled. "They probably forgot what they were fighting about, but they didn't forget that they're angry at you."

"Traitors." He muttered and I laughed.

"Maybe next time you'll actually listen to me when I talk." I looked at him and he pecked my lips.

"I will." He chuckled. "I learnt my lesson today."
