"Oh thank god, that was getting really annoying"
"I was starting to cramp..." Axel comments, running over to the others.
Alisha storms over, her body language clearly frustrated.
"I can't fucking believe you showed up" she said coldly.
"Well, I did Alisha. Now shut up, because that alien over there isn't going to wait for us to sort out our issues. Dispel Mars Fire Bow" he says firmly, his bow vanishing.
"Ah..." Ascella's shield comes down and she spins her staff, "So the red one arrives"
Her staff shines and she spins it again in a full circle, before a blast of Magic comes the rangers way. Ross steps between the blast and the other rangers -
"Summon Encode Styler!" a red flash summons his sword, he raises it to hold the magic back.
Richie's gaze darted between the alien and Ross before he exclaims:
"What in the ever loving Owl house is going on!?"
"O-Owl house?" Axel questioned.
"Now is not the time!" Ross shouts, pushing the magic away "Venus, use your whip to get that staff out of her hands, Neptune cover her with the Codex blaster!"
"The fuck are you doing giving orders!?!"
"Shut. Up. Do as I said Neptune. Solar, Saturn, let's go. We'll keep this woman distracted"
The three guys charged forward with their short range weapons, swinging them her way. Ascella, ducked and dodged. Blocking where she could and blasting them back - she raised her staff to cast another spell when she felt something wrap itself around the staff.
"What -" she spun around, pulling the staff towards her to avoid losing her grip on it before a blast of blue energy knocked her back.
Melissa flung the staff away with her whip, before cracking it again.
"Five against one, we know who wins"
Ascella gritted her teeth before a hologram appeared in front of them ....Ryon.
"Retreat. You've clearly been outmatched"
"Sir I can still-!"
"No! Do as you were told Ascella"
The hologram vanished and Ascella flipped away from the rangers, summoning her staff back to her hand.
"...You're lucky humans..." a green aura surrounds her and then she vanishes.
"Well...that was...a thing" Richie comments.
"...They're testing us" Ross replies "But it's over for now. Let's head back to the command centre"

Adam sat in the base, watching as the rangers teleported back in and de-morphed. They chatted amongst themselves for a while, before he cleared his throat.
Ross sighed, offering Richie a smile before walking up and taking the morpher off.
"For what it's worth Abeoji, thank you for letting me use it to help them"
Richie gritted his teeth, staring at Adam. The two black rangers make eye-contact before the older sighs.
"...One moment, everyone, I have something I need to say to you guys"
The five look between each other in confusion before coming closer. Adam stands up, folding his arms and first meeting his son's gaze.
"First of all, Ross...you directly disobeyed me. Forced me into an ultimatum."
"Ne Abeoji"
"You could have been killed. If your mother knew-"
"Yeah, I get it..."
"...However..." Ross' eyes lit up slightly, confused but excited at the shift in his father's tone "...I would have done the exact same thing"
Adam chuckled a little.
"I've realized I'm being too hard on you. I'm pushing too much to keep you safe. You're an adult, this is your choice to make and I have no right to stop you. So...if you really want it Ross, the power is yours" he says firmly "And...may it protect you, always"
Ross stared at his father, then at the morpher in his hands, then he rushed forward, pulling Adam into a hug.
"Thank you so much! I love you Dad!"
Adam smiled softly.
"...I'm...so proud of you Ross" he whispers before clearing his throat "Now! All of you listen up! Now that you're all officially a team, there's some rules that you have to follow!"
Ross smiled, stepping back.
"One. Never use your power for personal gain. Two. Never escalate a battle unless you're forced to and three. To the best of your ability, never reveal that you're a power ranger." Adam says firmly "You're a team, work hard and try to get along. This won't be easy, but I'll be here to help guide you however I can. Good luck everyone and may the power protect you"
Richie smirked, nudging Ross.
"I told you, there was no one in the world more perfect for the red ranger than you"
"Oh shh you"
