Hey guys, Evie here. So before I begin, allow me to tell you a little about this fanfic.
The beginning of Codex takes place late 2021, roughly just over a year after Jewelite takes place and a few months post rise of the jade dragon ^^ Will Jewelite characters make an appearance? Maybe. v•~•v
Its not a Legacy series like Jewelite, but it will have some legendary ranger appearances or mentions due to taking place in Angel Grove. Several plot points or character arcs for Codex were hinted at or set up through Jewelite and the Rise of the Jade Dragon, but the beginning episodes will lay them out roughly once again so those who didn't read Jewelite and just found Codex can still make sense of what's going on.
Though I highly recommend checking Jewelite out ;)
And yes. I am posting this chapter without the first episode just so I can hype it slightly XD It will still be a while before episode one is actually officially released, need to build up that backlog of episodes I mentioned at the end of RotJD
