Adam groaned, his whole body ached and pulsed with pain and his heart was pounding like it might just explode if he dared take another step. Still, he had to stand, somehow he had to stand.
The alien, the creature - that though unnamed - had called itself the commander of this invasion. That creature, it stepped forward with its energy bow in hand.
"Come now Human, stand aside and tell me the location of the Morphing Grid. If you don't know, then simply point me to someone who does" he replies "Because the faster we locate the less damage we do to your world"
Adam pushed himself to his feet, laughing - much to the alien's surprise.
"I'm sorry, is something amusing?"
"Yeah, yeah, something is amusing" Adam replied "That you think this is an invasion"
The ranger waved his hands around, gesturing to the attack.
"Is it...not?"
"Earth's faced invasions way bigger than this, so sorry, even if I do know where the Morphing Grid is, I don't feel intimidated by you"
He gets himself back into a fighting stance. The alien just laughs.
"Interesting, you Humans certainly have some spunk. But unfortunately that's not going to be enough" he gestures to the robots "Drainer Droids, finish him"
The drainer droids, many of which Adam had already knocked down several times, start to surround him. More of them just kept coming, it seemed like they multiplied every few seconds. How was he going to get through these things?
Regardless, he started fighting them off, kicking them back and trying to just generally survive. Still they started getting a few good hits in, knocking Adam off his feet. He couldn't keep up, there were too many of them.
"Hey! You leave my Abeoji alone!"
Adam whipped around, seeing Ross charging in with a flying kick that knocked at least three of the Drainer droids down like a line of dominos. He hit the ground pretty hard, but rolled back to his feet and into a perfect stance without so much as blinking.
"Or you'll have to deal with me!"
"Ross! What are you doing here?!"
Ross looked up at his father with grim determination etched on his face.
"I couldn't do it anymore"
"What...?"
Ross kicks away a couple more of the footsoldiers and even stole a blaster like Adam did to take out a couple more before turning his focus on the leader.
"I couldn't watch them hurt you anymore....I couldn't stand there and watch, it hurt"
"Ross..."
"Hey you! You're the guy who started all of this right!?"
The alien looks confused.
"And you are?"
"Your worst nightmare!" he blasts a drainer droid trying to sneak up behind him before tossing the blaster away "Let me show you why"
"...Ross?"
The younger Park pulled out a watch from his pocket, Adam's eyes widened in horror and he grabbed Ross' arm.
"No, no you're not!"
"Yes. I am and you can't stop me Abeoji, I have to do this to get you out of here!"
Ross pulls his arm away and straps the morpher on, a red light flashes from its screen, tracing over him before a voice pops up.
