The same rush of power - but different, like now it felt closer and more personal. Richie could only assume he was getting used to this power. He paused before realising:
"Damn...I need a cool roll call or something...another time Richard, another time" he says quickly, shaking his head "Alright, Summon Saturn Gaia Staff!"
A purple flash appeared in front of him, forming into a long staff with the same stylized 'h' on the end. It actually vaguely resembled the Black In-Space ranger's Lunar Lance in design, something likely intentional given Adam was involved.
"Alright Richie, you have no fucking clue how to stick fight but just...think about how Ross does it"
Melissa glanced over before sighing.
"Alright Cupid here we go" she twists her wrist and taps her morpher.
"Venus Power - Encoded" Cupid stated.
"Now! Open the Codex!"
A glow of Pink, she practically twirled giggling. Like all her concerns were cast away when she took this form. This was right, this was comfortable, this of all things felt like who she was. She held her hand out.
"Hey Cupid! Summon Venus Aero Whip!"
A pink glow formed the handle of her whip, before it slowly trailed down and hit the floor flashing into the actual whip part of the weapon. She cracks it and grins behind her helmet.
"Perfect. Alright Drainers! Let's go!"
Meanwhile, over with Alisha and Axel. Alisha shoved the yellow ranger out of the way, looking a little pissed off.
"Fucking Davies giving out orders like he's in charge!"
Axel glanced around at the Drainers starting to surround them.
"U-Uh A-Alisha...he-he's right"
"Shut up!"
Axel frowns.
"Axel, the Neptune Ranger's attitude is not going to improve with reasoning. Ignore her"
He looks down at his morpher then nods.
"O-Okay Crow" he twists his wrist and taps it.
"Solar Power - Encoded"
"Now. Open the Codex!"
Confidence. Pure confidence is what Axel had found would fill him when he morphed. Maybe it was always there? Maybe it was only just being introduced? Regardless, he found his stutter all but vanished now. His thoughts were clearer and more focused.
He held his hands as though he were about to grab something.
"Summon Solar Ray Daggers!"
The flashes of yellow in his hands formed his daggers, they felt right in his hands.
"Feeling better, Solar Ranger?"
"Much better. Thank you Crow. Let's go"
Alisha huffed in frustration.
"Fucking fine I guess" she taps her morpher.
"Neptune Power - Encoded"
"Open the Codex!"
Certainly she felt the power of morphing too. But for her it was how perfect it felt. She was worthy of this. She had lived and suffered and earned this. More than that stupid excuse for a wannabe ranger, Ross.
He didn't deserve this.
He hadn't earned it.
But she did.
